Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan memahami makna serta nilai-nilai yang terkandung, bentuk norma sosial yang tercermin, serta hambatan dalam mempertahankan tradisi jimpitan di Dusun Serbajadi II Desa Pemanggilan. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada adanya pergeseran nilai gotong royong pada masyarakat di beberapa wilayah akibat modernisasi yang mendorong sikap individualisme, sehingga diperlukan upaya untuk melihat peran tradisi lokal dalam menjaga solidaritas sosial. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data yang digunakan terdiri dari data primer yang diperoleh dari informan serta data sekunder dari dokumen dan literatur terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tradisi jimpitan mengandung nilai gotong royong, kepedulian sosial, tanggung jawab, dan kebersamaan yang memperkuat solidaritas masyarakat. Norma sosial tercermin melalui kewajiban moral partisipasi, kejujuran, transparansi, serta adanya sanksi sosial berupa teguran atau rasa malu. Adapun hambatan yang dihadapi meliputi kesibukan kerja, menurunnya partisipasi, pengaruh individualisme, serta kejenuhan, namun masyarakat tetap mempertahankan tradisi melalui musyawarah dan penguatan kebersamaan. Kata kunci: tradisi jimpitan, nilai gotong royong, norma sosial, modal sosial. This study aims to identify and understand the meanings and values inherent in the jimpitan tradition, the forms of social norms reflected therein, and the obstacles to preserving this tradition in Serbajadi II Hamlet, Pemanggilan Village. This study is motivated by the shifting values of mutual cooperation within communities in several regions due to modernization, which has fostered individualism; thus, it is necessary to examine the role of local traditions in maintaining social solidarity. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The data consist of primary data obtained from informants and secondary data from relevant documents and literature. The results of the study indicate that the jimpitan tradition embodies the values of mutual aid, social concern, responsibility, and togetherness, which strengthen community solidarity. Social norms are reflected through the moral obligation to participate, honesty, transparency, and the existence of social sanctions in the form of reprimands or shame. The obstacles faced include work commitments, declining participation, the influence of individualism, and burnout; however, the community continues to uphold the tradition through deliberation and the strengthening of togetherness.
