Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh persepsi mahasiswa terhadap kecanduan judi online pada mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Lampung. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Populasi berjumlah 5.462 mahasiswa, dengan sampel sebanyak 120 responden yang ditentukan melalui rumus Slovin dan teknik proportionate stratified sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner skala Likert dan dianalisis melalui statistik deskriptif serta regresi linier sederhana menggunakan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi mahasiswa terhadap judi online berada pada kategori baik, ditandai dengan pemahaman terhadap risiko, dampak negatif, serta implikasi sosial, hukum, dan psikologis. Sementara itu, tingkat kecanduan judi online berada pada kategori sedang. Namun, hasil uji regresi menunjukkan bahwa persepsi mahasiswa tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kecanduan judi online (Sig. = 0,133 > 0,05) dengan nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,019. Artinya, persepsi hanya menjelaskan 1,9% variasi kecanduan, sedangkan 98,1% dipengaruhi faktor lain. Temuan ini menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan antara kesadaran kognitif dan perilaku aktual mahasiswa. Persepsi yang baik belum cukup untuk menekan perilaku adiktif. Faktor lain seperti lingkungan sosial, tekanan ekonomi, paparan media digital, kondisi psikologis, dan kontrol diri memiliki pengaruh lebih besar. Oleh karena itu, penanganan kecanduan judi online perlu dilakukan secara komprehensif melalui peningkatan kontrol diri, literasi digital dan keuangan, serta dukungan lingkungan sosial dan kebijakan yang berkelanjutan. This study aims to examine the effect of students’ perceptions on online gambling addiction among students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Lampung. The research employs a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The population consists of 5,462 students, with a sample of 120 respondents determined using the Slovin formula and proportionate stratified sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS. The findings indicate that students’ perceptions of online gambling are categorized as good, as reflected in their understanding of the risks and negative social, legal, and psychological impacts. Meanwhile, the level of online gambling addiction is categorized as moderate. However, the results of the regression analysis show that students’ perceptions do not have a significant effect on online gambling addiction (Sig. = 0.133 > 0.05), with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.019. This implies that students’ perceptions explain only 1.9% of the variance in online gambling addiction, while the remaining 98.1% is influenced by other factors. These findings reveal a gap between cognitive awareness and actual behavior. Although students have good perceptions, these are not sufficient to control addictive behavior. Other factors such as social environment, economic pressure, digital media exposure, psychological conditions, and self-control appear to play a more dominant role. Therefore, efforts to address online gambling addiction should adopt a comprehensive approach, including strengthening self-control, improving digital and financial literacy, and enhancing social and policy support.
