Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan pemahaman konsep murid pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia dalam pembelajaran IPAS. Selain itu, penggunaan media pembelajaran yang kurang variatif juga membuat proses pembelajaran menjadi kurang menarik bagi murid. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbantuan articulate storyline pada model discovery learning yang valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep murid kelas 5 pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia dalam pembelajaran IPAS. Penelitian pengembangan (R&D) ini mengadaptasi model ADDIE. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah pendidik dan murid kelas 5 di SDN 1 Ketapang Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Hasil rata-rata akhir dari validasi ahli desain media, ahli materi, dan ahli bahasa diperoleh nilai sebesar 86% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Hasil uji praktikalitas respon murid diperoleh nilai sebesar 93,19% dengan kriteria sangat praktis, sedangkan hasil uji praktikalitas respon pendidik diperoleh nilai sebesar 97,27%. Poin terpenting, produk ini terbukti efektif meningkatkan pemahaman konsep murid. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh perolehan rata-rata N-Gain kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media pembelajaran interaktif berbantuan articulate storyline mencapai 0,749 (Kategori Tingggi), jauh melampaui kelas kontrol yang hanya mencapai 0,49 (Kategori Sedang). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif berbantuan articulate storyline valid, praktis dan efektif untuk digunakan pada pembelajaran IPAS materi sistem pencernaan manusia kelas 5 di SDN 1 Ketapang. In addition, the use of less varied learning media also makes the learning process less interesting for students. This study aims to develop interactive learning media assisted by articulate storyline in the discovery learning model that is valid, practical, and effective in improving the conceptual understanding ability of fifth grade students on the material of the human digestive system in science learning. This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D) research, the development refers to ADDIE. The sample in this study were educators and fifth grade students at SDN 1 Ketapang, South Lampung Regency. The final average result of the validation of design media experts, material experts, and language experts obtained a value of 86% with very valid criteria. The results of the practicality test of student responses obtained a value of 93.19% with very practical criteria, while the results of the practicality test of educator responses obtained a value of 97.27%. The most important point is that this product has been proven effective in improving students’ conceptual understanding. This is indicated by the average N-Gain score of the experimental class, which used interactive learning media assisted by Articulate Storyline, reaching 0,749(high category), significantly surpassing the control class, which only achieved 0,49 (moderate category). Based on these research findings, it can be concluded that the interactive learning media assisted by Articulate Storyline is valid, practical, and effective for use in IPAS learning on the topic of the human digestive system for fifth-grade students at SDN 1 Ketapang.
