Abstrak

ABSTRAK PENGEMBANGAN PEMBELAJARAN IPS TERPADU MELALUI MEDIA PIE CHART UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VII Oleh KHARISMA IDOLA ARGA Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan pembelajaran IPS terpadu melalui media Pie Chart dan mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran melalui media Pie Chart dalam pembelajaran IPS terpadu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Develoment (R&D). Desain pengembangan pembelajaran melalui media Pie Chart menggunakan langkah-langkah Dick and Carey. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII SMP Wiyata Bhakti Natar Lampung Selatan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purpose sampling, sampel yang diambil 2 kelas yaitu kelas VII3 sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VII6 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Pengambilan sampel tersebut didasari oleh pertimbangan bahwa kedua kelas tersebut memiliki hasil belajar yang berdistribusi normal dan berasal dari populasi yang homogen. Hasil penelitian pengembangan pembelajaran ini menyimpulkan bahwa, (1) Penelitian ini adalah pengembangan pembelajaran IPS terpadu melalui media Pie Chart untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMP Wiyata Bhakti Natar Lampung Selatan tahun pelajaran 2014/2015; (2) Hasil belajar dari kegiatan posttest kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media Pie Chart dalam pembelajaran IPS terpadu lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik kelas kontrol yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Kata kunci: pengembangan, pembelajaran IPS terpadu, media Pie Chart. ABSTRACT THE DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL STUDY LEARNING THROUGH PIE CHART TO INCREASE THE STUDY RESULT FOR THE SEVEN GRADE By KHARISMA IDOLA ARGA This research aimed to develop social study learning through Pie Chart and to know the effectiveness of learning through Pie Chart in social study learning. The research method used was research and development (R&D). The desain of learning development through Pie Chart used the step of Dick and Carey. The population of the research was the student at seven grade of SMP Wiyata Bhakti Natar Sout Lampung. The researcher used purpose sampling in taking tke sample of the research. The researcher took two classes VII3 as the control and VII6 as experiment class. These two classes were taken based on the consederation that both of two classes have normal distribution in their study result and from homogeneity population. The research result of this learning development concluded that, (1) This research was the development of social study learning through Pie Chart to increase the study result of the student in seven grade of SMP Wiyata Bhkati Natar Sout Lampung 2014/2015; (2) The study result of posttest in experiment class that used Pie Chart in social studies learning was higher than the control class that used conventional learning.
