Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi masyarakat terhadap dampak keberadaan agroindustri tahu di Kelurahan Bukit Kemuning, Kecamatan Bukit Kemuning, Kabupaten Lampung Utara, serta mengidentifikasi potensi bahaya laten konflik yang muncul di masyarakat sekitar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif eksploratif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi lapangan, dokumentasi, dan audio visual dengan informan yang tinggal di sekitar lokasi agroindustri tahu dan merasakan dampaknya secara langsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi masyarakat terhadap keberadaan agroindustri tahu bersifat beragam. Pada aspek ekonomi, masyarakat menilai keberadaan agroindustri tahu memberikan dampak positif karena membuka peluang kerja terbatas, menambah penghasilan bagi pihak yang terlibat langsung, serta memudahkan masyarakat memperoleh tahu dan tempe. Pada aspek sosial, hubungan antara masyarakat dan pelaku usaha masih terjaga dengan baik melalui interaksi sehari-hari, kegiatan gotong royong, dan kontribusi sosial pelaku usaha. Namun, pada aspek lingkungan, masyarakat masih merasakan dampak negatif berupa bau limbah, perubahan warna air drainase, endapan lumpur, serta luapan air saat musim hujan. Kondisi tersebut menimbulkan ketidaknyamanan yang berulang dan menjadi bahan pembicaraan antarwarga. Bahaya laten konflik di masyarakat sekitar agroindustri tahu dapat dikategorikan sebagai potensi konflik sedang karena belum berkembang menjadi konflik terbuka, tetapi masih menyimpan keluhan dan kekhawatiran apabila dampak lingkungan tidak ditangani secara optimal. Kata kunci: agroindustri tahu, persepsi masyarakat, bahaya laten konflik This study aims to examine community perceptions of the impacts of tofu agroindustry in Bukit Kemuning Village, Bukit Kemuning District, North Lampung Regency, and to identify the potential for latent conflict among the surrounding community. This research employed a descriptive qualitative exploratory approach. Data were collected through interviews, field observations, documentation, and audiovisual records involving informants who lived near the tofu agroindustry area and directly experienced its impacts. The results show that community perceptions of the existence of the tofu agroindustry are varied. From the economic aspect, the community perceived the tofu agroindustry as having a positive impact because it created limited employment opportunities, increased income for those directly involved, and provided easier access to tofu and tempeh products. From the social aspect, the relationship between the community and business actors remained well maintained through daily interactions, mutual cooperation activities, and social contributions from business actors. However, from the environmental aspect, the community still experienced negative impacts, including unpleasant odors from waste, changes in drainage water color, sludge deposits, and water overflow during the rainy season. These conditions caused recurring discomfort and became a topic of discussion among residents. The latent conflict among the community surrounding the tofu agroindustry can be categorized as a moderate potential conflict because it has not developed into an open conflict, but still contains complaints and concerns if environmental impacts are not managed optimally.
