Abstract
SURNITA Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR), Government Effectiveness, dan Control of Corruption terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di negara-negara ASEAN selama periode 2002–2024. Latar belakang penelitian didasarkan pada adanya perbedaan tingkat pertumbuhan ekonomi antar negara ASEAN. Penelitian ini menggunakan data panel yang mencakup 10 negara anggota ASEAN dengan periode observasi tahun 2002–2024. Variabel dependen yang digunakan adalah pertumbuhan ekonomi, sedangkan variabel independennya meliputi FDI, LFPR, Government Effectiveness, dan Control of Corruption. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa FDI, LFPR, Government Effectiveness, dan Control of Corruption memiliki pengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi negaranegara ASEAN. FDI berperan sebagai sumber akumulasi modal dan transfer teknologi yang dapat meningkatkan produktivitas ekonomi. LFPR mencerminkan pemanfaatan tenaga kerja dalam kegiatan ekonomi yang berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan output. Sementara itu, kualitas tata kelola pemerintahan yang tercermin melalui Government Effectiveness dan Control of Corruption mampu menciptakan lingkungan ekonomi yang lebih kondusif, meningkatkan efisiensi birokrasi, serta memperkuat kepercayaan investor. Secara simultan, keempat variabel tersebut menjadi faktor penting yang memengaruhi pertumbuhan ekonomi di ASEAN. Kata Kunci: Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR), Government Effectiveness, Control of Corruption, Pertumbuhan Ekonomi, ASEAN. This study aims to analyze the effects of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR), Government Effectiveness, and Control of Corruption on economic growth in ASEAN countries during the period 2002– 2024. The study is motivated by the differences in economic growth rates among ASEAN member countries. This research employs panel data covering ten ASEAN member states over the observation period of 2002–2024. Economic growth is used as the dependent variable, while FDI, LFPR, Government Effectiveness, and Control of Corruption serve as the independent variables. The results indicate that FDI, LFPR, Government Effectiveness, and Control of Corruption influence economic growth in ASEAN countries. FDI plays an important role as a source of capital accumulation and technology transfer that can enhance economic productivity. LFPR reflects labor force participation in economic activities, which contributes to increased economic output. Meanwhile, the quality of governance, as reflected by Government Effectiveness and Control of Corruption, is capable of creating a more conducive economic environment, improving bureaucratic efficiency, and strengthening investor confidence. Simultaneously, these four variables are important determinants of economic growth in ASEAN.
