Abstract

The development of hydroponic vegetable enterprises in Bandar Lampung City is driven by the increasing demand for healthy food and the limited availability of agricultural land. However, high investment costs, production fluctuations, as well as challenges from technical, economic, social, and environmental factors affect business sustainability. This study aims to analyze the financial feasibility and sustainability factors of the hydroponic vegetable enterprise at PT Kebun Langit Group. The research method used is a case study. Respondents consist of business owners, academics, practitioners, and other related parties. Data analysis was conducted through financial feasibility evaluation using investment criteria (NPV, IRR, Gross B/C, Net B/C, and Payback Period), sensitivity analysis, and sustainability factor analysis using the Matrix of Cross Impact Multiplication Applied to a Classification (MICMAC) method. The results of the study show that the hydroponic vegetable enterprise at PT Kebun Langit Group is quite stable, profitable, and feasible to operate. A decrease in production of more than 50 percent and an increase in production costs of more than 98 percent render the hydroponic vegetable enterprise unfeasible. The results of the MICMAC analysis show that financial feasibility, productivity, and initial capital are the main key variables in the sustainability system of the hydroponic enterprise, while the effectiveness of hydroponic system installation maintenance and technology adaptation act as strategic output variables in maintaining the sustainability of the hydroponic enterprise. Keywords: feasibility, sustainability, hydroponic, vegetables Pengembangan usaha hidroponik sayur di Kota Bandar Lampung didorong oleh meningkatnya permintaan terhadap pangan sehat serta keterbatasan lahan pertanian. Namun, tingginya biaya investasi dan fluktuasi produksi serta tantangan dari faktor teknis, ekonomi, sosial dan lingkungan dalam keberlanjutan usaha. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan finansial dan faktor keberlanjutan usaha hidroponik sayur pada PT Kebun Langit Group. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus. Responden terdiri dari pemilik usaha, akademisi, praktisi, dan pihak terkait lainnya. Analisis data dilakukan melalui evaluasi kelayakan finansial menggunakan kriteria investasi (NPV, IRR, Gross B/C, Net B/C, dan Payback Period ), analisis sensitivitas, serta analisis faktor keberlanjutan menggunakan metode Matrix of Cross Impact Multiplication Applied to a Classification (MICMAC). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usaha hidroponik sayur pada PT Kebun Langit Group cukup stabil, menguntungkan dan layak untuk dijalankan. Penurunan produksi lebih dari 50 persen dan kenaikan biaya produksi lebih dari 98 persen usaha hidroponik sayur menjadi tidak layak. Hasil analisis MICMAC menunjukkan bahwa kelayakan finansial, produktivitas, dan modal awal merupakan variabel kunci utama dalam sistem keberlanjutan usaha hidroponik, sedangkan efektivitas pemeliharaan instalasi sistem hidroponik dan Kemampuan adaptasi teknologi berperan sebagai variabel output terikat terhadap sistem dalam menjaga keberlanjutan usaha hidroponik.
