Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah kurangnya motivasi mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan skripsi. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui gaya komunikasi orang tua yang diterapkan, serta mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan gaya komunikasi orang tua terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa/mahasiswi bimbingan dan konseling angkatan 2021-2022 dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 95 dipilih dengan menggunakan metode random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala gaya komunikasi orang tua dan skala motivasi mahasiswa Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah uji korelasi. Hasil penelitian ini gaya komunikasi orang tua memiliki hubungan sangat kuat terhadap motivasi belajar dari mahasiswa atau mahasiswa nilai product moment pearson yang didapatkan sebesar 0.892. Demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa gaya komunikasi yang digunakan oleh orang tua dari mahasiswa/mahasiswi akan memiliki hubungan yang kuat terhadap motivasi belajar untuk mahasiswa/mahasiswi tersebut. Kata Kunci : Gaya Komunikasi, Motivasi Belajar, Penyusunan Skripsi The problem in this study is the lack of motivation among students in completing their undergraduate thesis. This study aims to identify the parental communication styles applied to students and to determine whether there is a relationship between parental communication styles and students’ learning motivation. The research method used is quantitative correlational. The population of this study consists of students in the Guidance and Counseling Department, class of 2021–2022, with a sample of 95 students selected using the Random Sampling method. Data collection techniques included a parental communication style scale and a student motivation scale. The data analysis technique used in this study was the Correlation Test. The results of this research show that parental communication style has a very strong relationship with students’ learning motivation. The Pearson Product Moment value obtained was 0.892. Thus, it can be concluded that the communication style used by parents has a significant influence on students’ learning motivation. The better the parental communication style, the higher the students’ motivation in completing their thesis. Keywords: Communication Style, Learning Motivation, Thesis Writing
