Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan sari kedelai dalam pengencer tris kuning telur terhadap kualitas semen kambing Boer serta menentukan dosis terbaik. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Desember 2025 di Peternakan Sinau Farm, Karang Rejo, Metro Utara, Kota Metro, Provinsi Lampung, menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan, yaitu P0 (tris kuning telur tanpa penambahan sari kedelai), P1 (tris kuning telur+2,5% sari kedelai), P2 (tris kuning telur+5% sari kedelai) dan P3 (tris kuning telur+7,5% sari kedelai). Parameter yang diamati meliputi motilitas, viabilitas dan abnormalitas spermatozoa pascapengenceran yang diamati setiap jam mulai dari jam ke-0 hingga jam ke-3. Data dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA dan uji BNT pada taraf 1% dan atau 5% untuk peubah yang berbeda nyata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan sari kedelai berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap motilitas dan viabilitas spermatozoa, tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap abnormalitas spermatozoa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan konsentrasi sari kedelai dalam bahan pengencer menurunkan nilai motilitas, viabilitas dan abnormalitas. Perlakuan terbaik diperoleh pada P0 hingga penyimpanan jam ke-3, dengan motilitas sebesar 53,75±4,79%, viabilitas sebesar 72,67±2,08% dan abnormalitas sebesar 2,46±0,51%. Kata Kunci: Kambing Boer, sari kedelai, semen segar, tris kuning telur This study aims to determine the effect of adding soybean extract in tris egg yolk diluent on the quality of Boer goat semen and to determine the best dosage. The study was conducted in December 2025 at Sinau Farm, Karang Rejo, North Metro, Metro City, Lampung Province, using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 4 replications, namely P0 (tris egg yolk without the addition of soybean extract), P1 (tris egg yolk+2.5% soybean extract), P2 (tris egg yolk+5% soybean extract) and P3 (tris egg yolk+7.5% soybean extract). The parameters observed included motility, viability and abnormalities of spermatozoa after dilution which were observed every hour from the 0th hour to the 3rd hour. Data were analyzed using ANOVA and LSD test at the 1% and or 5% levels for significantly different variables. The results showed that the addition of soybean extract significantly (P<0.01) affected sperm motility and viability, but had no significant effect (P>0.05) on sperm abnormalities. The results showed that increasing the concentration of soybean extract in the diluent decreased motility, viability, and abnormality values. The best treatment was obtained from P0 to 3 hours of storage, with motility of 53.75±4.79%, viability of 72.67±2.08%, and abnormalities of 2.46±0.51%.
