ABSTRAK UKURAN KELOMPOK SIMPAI (Presbytis melalophos) DI HUTAN DESA CUGUNG KESATUAN PENGELOLAAN HUTAN LINDUNG MODEL GUNUNG RAJABASA LAMPUNG SELATAN OLEH CINDY YOELAND VIOLITA Hutan Desa Cugung merupakan hutan desa yang berada di bawah Kesatuan Pengelolaan Hutan Lindung (KPHL) Model Gunung Rajabasa merupakan habitat bagi simpai (Presbytis melalophos). Sekelompok simpai hidup pada hutan tersebut, tetapi ukuran kelompok simpai dan struktur populasinya hingga saat ini belum diketahui. Penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui ukuran kelompok dan struktur populasi simpai di hutan Desa Cugung dengan menggunakan metode area terkonsenterasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ukuran kelompok simpai yang dijumpai di hutan Desa Cugung berjumlah 11 individu. Jumlah individu fase reproduktif (dewasa) adalah 4 individu dan fase prereproduktif muda 5 individu ABSTRACT SIMPAI (Presbytis melalophos) GROUP SIZE IN A FOREST OF CUGUNG VILLAGE OF PROTECTION FOREST MANAGEMENT UNIT MODEL OF RAJABASA MOUNTAIN SOUTH LAMPUNG BY CINDY YOELAND VIOLITA Cugung forest managed by Protection Forest Management Unit Model (KPHL) of Rajabasa Mountain, its a natural habitat for simpai (Presbytis melalophos). Its simpai size and structure are not know. Research was done to observe its group size and population structure in Cugung forest using concentration count method. Group size was 11 simpais, with 4 reproductive age and 5 young individuals and there are 2 infants. The sexual ratio is 1:2. Key word : Simpai, Group Size, A Cugung Forest, Protection Forest Management Unit dan anakan 2 individu. Nilai rasio seksual pada kelas umur reproduktif yaitu 1:2. Kata kunci :Simpai, Ukuran Kelompok, Hutan Desa Cugung, Kesatuan Pengelolaan Hutan Lindung.
