Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan menduga kurva regresi dengan metode Theil-Sen untuk data tidak normal dan heteroskedasitas. Hasil dari data simulasi menggunakan sebaran loglogistik dan eksponensial dengan α = 2, β = 5, n = 10 dan α = 0, β = 5, n = 10 menunjukkan bahwa Theil-Sen memberikan galat yang lebih kecil dibandingkan MKT. Hasil yang sama juga terlihat pada data contoh kasus. Kata kunci: Regresi Nonparametrik, Metode Theil-Sen, Metode Kuadrat Terkecil. ABSTRACT This study aimed to estimate regression curve using Theil-Sen method for unnormal and heteroscedastic data. The result from simulated data using logistic and exponential distribution with α = 2, β = 5, n = 10 and α = 0, β = 5, n = 10 showed that Theil-Sen gave smaller MSE than LSE. The same result could be seen by using case data. Keywords: Nonparametric Regression, Theil-Sen method, Method of Least Squares.
