Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis tingkat partisipasi petani dalam kegiatan organisasi/kelompok tani yang ada di Kecamatan Gedong Tataan, Kabupaten Pesawaran, menganalisis pendapatan petani agroforestri berbasis kakao dan petani non agroforestri berbasis kakao di Kecamatan Gedong Tataan, Kabupaten Pesawaran, menganalisis manfaat tidak langsung agroforestri dan non agroforestri terhadap sumber daya alam dan lingkungan yang ada di Kecamatan Gedong Tataan, Kabupaten Pesawaran. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Juli 2014 sampai dengan April 2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh dari wawancara kepada 75 petani di Kecamatan Gedong Tataan Kabupaten Pesawaran dan penelitian ini juga menggunakan data skunder yang diperoleh dari lembaga/intansi terkait seperti Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), Dinas Perkebunan, dan lainnya. Metode analisis data menggunakan deskriptif, kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Analisis partisipasi menggunakan skala likert, analisis pendapatan menggunakan total revenue (TR), total cost (TC), nisbah penerimaan biaya (R/C) dan analisis manfaat tidak langsung menggunakan benefit cost rasio (BCR) diperluas. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah (1) tingkat partisipasi petani agroforestri lebih aktif dibandingkan dengan petani non agroforestri, (2) pendapatan lahan petani agroforestri lebih besar dibandingkan dengan pendapatan lahan petani non agroforestri. Nisbah penerimaan dan biaya (R/C) menunjukkan usahatani kakao petani agroforestri dan petani non agroforestri menguntungkan dan layak untuk diusahakan, (3) Sistem pertanian agroforestri berbasis kakao menunjukkan manfaat ekonomi dan lingkungan yang mengarah pada sumber daya alam yang berkelanjutan di Kecamatan Gedong Tataan Kabupaten Pesawaran. Kata Kunci : Agroforestri, kakao dan keberlanjutan. ABSTRACT The objectives purpose of this research are to analyze level of farmer participation in group activities in Gedong Tataan Subdistrict of Pesawaran, to analyze farmers income of agroforestry bassed cacao and non agroforestry bassed cacao in Gedong Tataan Subdistrict of Pesawaran, and to analyze economic and environmental benefits of agroforestry and non agroforestry in Gedong Tatan Subdistrict of Pesawaran .This research was conducted in Juli 2014 until April 2015. This research use primary data collected directly by interviewing 75 farmer in Gedong Tataan Subdistrict of Pesawaran. The methods of data analysis used in this research was descriptive,qualitative and quantitative analysis. This research also use secondary data collected from goverment agencies, primate sectors,etc. Analysis participant use scale of Likert, analysis of income use total revenue (TR),total cost (TC), return cost ratio (R/C), and analysis indirect benefit use Extended Benefit Cost Rasio. The results of this research showed that (1)The participation of agroforestry farmers is more active in farmers group activities than that of non agroforestry farmers,(2) Income of agroforestry farmers is higher than non agroforestry farmers. R/C ratio of cacao agroforestry farmers is higher than that of non agroforestry farmers, and (3)Cacao agroforestry farming system in study area has provided economic and environmental benefits for the country leading to more sustainable natural resource use.
