Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Studied of antioxidant compound from cyanobacteria, Spirulina sp. in the media of 5% POME has been done. In the initial antioxidant test using DPPH reagent showed that Spirulina sp. excreted the antioxidant compounds. The result from 5 L elution media filtrate using XAD 16 obtained extract as much as 0.485 g. The 0.485 g extract were obtained from the 5 L POME media with the XAD 16. The TLC test using the specific reagents Dragendorf (orange) and ninhydrin (purple) indicated that the extract of the active compounds are included in peptide compounds. The result of UV-Vis analysis showed maximum absorption at a wavelength of 228 nm and 277 nm. The data interpretation of FTIR spectra indicates absorption of C = O amide at 1635.64 cm-1 region and mass spectrum analysis shows the value of m/z 982.0037 with molecular formula C53H78N10O8 which is as one of the homologous compounds microcystin. Furthermore, a quantitative test result antioxidant compound has a value of 14.3%. Based on the above data, it was concluded that the filtrate Spirulina sp. POME media is a potential source of antioxidant compounds. Keywords : Spirulina sp., POME, DPPH, antioxidant Telah dilakukan kajian senyawa antioksidan pada Cyanobacteria, Spirulina sp. dalam media POME 5%. Hasil uji awal antioksidan menggunakan pereaksi DPPH pada media filtrat menunjukkan bahwa Spirulina sp. mengekskresi senyawa antioksidan. Hasil elusi 5 L filtrat media menggunakan XAD 16 diperoleh ekstrak sebanyak 0,485 g. Hasil uji KLT dengan pereaksi spesifik Dragendorf (orange) dan ninhidrin (ungu) mengindikasikan ekstrak senyawa aktif termasuk ke dalam senyawa peptida. Hasil uji analisis UV-Vis menunjukkan adanya serapan maksimum pada panjang gelombang 228 nm dan 277 nm. Intrepretasi data spektrum FTIR mengindikasikan adanya serapan uluran C=O amida pada daerah 1635,64 cm-1 dan analisis spektrum massa memperlihatkan nilai m/z 982,0037 dengan rumus molekul C53H78N10O8 yang merupakan sebagai salah satu senyawa homolog Microcystin. Selanjutnya, hasil uji secara kuantitatif senyawa antioksidan memiliki nilai sebesar 14,3 %. Berdasarkan data di atas, disimpulkan bahwa filtrat Spirulina sp. pada media POME merupakan sumber potensial senyawa antioksidan. Kata kunci : Spirulina sp., POME, DPPH, antioksidan
