Abstrak

ABSTRAK Meningkatnya kebutuhan energi dunia dan berkurangnya ketersediaan bahan bakar fosil mendorong kita untuk menemukan energi terbarukan yang ramah lingkungan, salah satunya energi panas bumi. Salah satu daerah potensi energi panas bumi adalah di daerah Wai Selabung, Kabupaten Oku Selatan, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan dengan luas daerah 15 km2. Penyelidikan Gayaberat, Magnetotelurik, dan Geokimia dimaksudkan sebagai upaya mendapatkan gambaran potensi energi tersebut dengan melihat struktur patahan dan sistem panas bumi daerah penyelidikan. Pembentukan sistem panas bumi daerah Wai Selabung dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan vulkanik dan tektonik yang searah sesar Sumatera. Hasil analisa SVD anomali Bouguer residual menunjukan terdapat dua patahan turun dan sebuah patahan naik berarah barat laut-tenggara di daerah Kota Dalam dan Teluk Agung, dan sebuah pola patahan naik hasil SVD anomali Bouguer regional di daerah Sinarmarga. Berdasarkan hasil inversi 3D anomali Bouguer didapatkan dua buah reservoar dengan densitas 1,4-1,7 gr/cm3 dan volume total 15,7 km3 pada kedalaman 1000 meter, Cap rock dengan densitas 2-2,4 gr/cm3 dan resestivitas <20 ohm berupa alterasi vulkanik, dan Heat source dengan densitas 2,4-2,9 gr/cm3 berupa intrusi lava Tebat gayat. Kompilasi terpadu menunjukan temperatur reservoir berdasarkan geotermometer Na-K-Mg sebesar 170oC sehingga didapatkan potensi energi kelas cadangan terduga sebesar 182 MWe. Kata kunci : Panas bumi, Patahan, Gayaberat, Geokimia ABSTRACT Increased global energy consumption and decreased of fosil fuel stocks provides us to find a renewable and green energy, and geothermal energy is one of them. One of indonesian regions that has geothermal prospect fields is Wai Selabung, Oku Selatan residence, South Sumatera province with 15 km2 abroad. Gravity, Magneotelluric, and Geochemistry surveys are intended to observes fault structure and geothermal system to see a global picture of energy on that areas. Formation of geothermal system on Wai Selabung were influenced by vulcanic environment and tectonic with same direction as Sumateras fault. Results of SVD Bouguer anomaly residual analisys shows two normal fault and one thrust fault directing NW-SE on Kota dalam and Teluk Agung, and one thrust fault in Sinarmarga. Based on 3D Bouguer anomaly inversion model, we were obtained two reservoar with densities 1.4-1.7 gr/cm3 and total volume 15.7 km3, Cap rock with densities 2-2.4 gr/cm3 and resestivities <20 ohm as a vulcanic alteration, and Heat source with densities 2.4-2.9 gr/cm3 as a intrution lava Tebat gayat. Integrated compilation shows reservoar temperature based on geotermometer Na-K-Mg was 170oC, so hipotesis potential energy classes on prospecting field is 182 MWe.
