Abstrak Salah satu kriteria untuk mengukur tingkat produktivitas kambing adalah kemampuan menghasilkan anak kambing yang memunyai pertambahan bobot tubuh yang tinggi dimana biasanya sangat dipengaruhi oleh umur induk dan bobot lahir. Sifat-sifat pertumbuhan meliputi bobot lahir, pertumbuhan sebelum sapih, dan bobot sapih dipengaruhi oleh paritas atau periode kelahiran. Semakin tinggi paritas, maka semakin tinggi pula performan pertumbuhan anak-anak yang dilahirkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh paritas terhadap bobot lahir, bobot sapih, dan tingkat pertumbuhan kambing Boerawa prasapih. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Maret—Juni 2012 di Kecamatan Gisting, Kabupaten Tanggamus, Provinsi Lampung yang merupakan lokasi pengembangan kambing Boerawa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei untuk mendapatkan materi penelitian berupa rekording bangsa kambing, waktu melahirkan, tipe kelahiran, bobot lahir, tetua, umur induk, serta paritas dari 90 ekor induk kambing Boerawa masing-masing 30 ekor paritas 1, 2, dan 3. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan sidik ragam dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Jarak Berganda Duncan taraf nyata 5%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bobot lahir dan sapih kambing Boerawa antara paritas 1, 2, dan 3 masing-masing menunjukkan perbedaan. Bobot lahir dan sapih paritas 3 (3,373 ± 0,292 kg dan 17, 429 ± 1,092 kg) berbeda nyata (P<0,05) dengan paritas 2 (3,247 ±0,201 kg dan 16,762 ± 1,243 kg) dan paritas 1 (3,131 ± 0,152 kg dan 1 5,875 ± 1,211). Demikian pula bobot lahir dan sapih paritas 2 berbeda nyata (P<0,05) dengan paritas 1. Selanjutnya, PBT paritas 3 (0,156 ± 0,012 kg/ekor/hari) maupun paritas 2 (0,150 ± 0,013 kg/ekor/hari) masing-masing berbeda nyata (P<0,05) dengan PBT paritas 1 (0,142 ± 0,013 kg/ekor/hari). Namun, PBT paritas 3 dan 2 tidak berbeda nyata (P>0,05). Secara umum, paritas 3 memberikan pengaruh pengaruh yang terbaik terhadap bobot lahir, bobot sapih, dan PBT Kambing Boerawa prasapih. Abstract One of the criteria for measuring the productivity of goats is the ability to produce a kid who has a high body weight gain which is usually strongly influenced by the age of the mother and birth weight. The properties include the growth in birth weight, pre-weaning growth and weaning weight is influenced by parity or birth period. The higher the parity, the higher the growth performance of the children were born. This study aimed to determine the effect of parity on birth weight, weaning weight and growth rate of goats Boerawa pre-weaning. The research was carried out in March-June 2012 in District Gisting, Tanggamus District, Lampung province, the site of the development of goat Boerawa. This study used a survey method to obtain research materials such as goat nations recording, time of delivery, type of delivery, birth weight, elder, parent age, and parity of 90 breeding goats Boerawa each 30 tail parity 1, 2, and 3. Data were analyzed with analysis of variance, followed by Duncan's test Distance Regression real level of 5%. The results of this study showed that birth weight and weaning goats Boerawa between parity 1, 2, and 3 respectively show the difference. Birth weight and weaning parity 3 (3.373 ± 0.292 kg and 17, 429 ± 1.092 kg) significantly (P <0.05) with parity 2 (3.247 ± 0.201 kg and 16.762 ± 1.243 kg) and parity of 1 (3.131 ± 0.152 kg and 15.875 ± 1.211). Similarly, birth weight and weaning parity 2 were significantly different (P <0.05) with parity 1. Furthermore, PBT parity 3 (0.156 ± 0.012 kg / head / day) and parity 2 (0.150 ± 0.013 kg / head / day) each significantly different (P <0.05) with PBT parity 1 (0.142 ± 0.013 kg / head / day). However, PBT parity 3 and 2 were not significantly different (P> 0.05). In general, the effect of parity 3 provides the best effect on birth weight, weaning weight, and PBT Goat Boerawa pre-weaning.
