Abstract
Abstrak Ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus) adalah ikan air tawar yang memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi dan banyak dibudidayakan, namun pembudidaya sering mengalami kendala harga pakan yang tinggi karena bahan baku seperti tepung ikan masih diimpor. Untuk mengatasinya dicari altematif bahan baku lokal yang dapat menggantikan tepung ikan seperti tepung ikan rucah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh substitusi tepung ikan dengan tepung ikan rucah pada pakan dengan proporsi yang berbeda dan untuk mengetahui proporsi tepung ikan rucah yang paling baik untuk pertumbuhan ikan nila. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 6 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan A (pelet komersil/kontrol), B (tepung ikan 100%), C (tepung ikan rucah 25% + tepung ikan 75%), D (tepung ikan rucah 50% + tepung ikan 50%), E (tepung ikan rucah 75% + tepung ikan 25%), F (tepung ikan rucah 100%). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis ragam (ANOVA) dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan. Parameter yang diamati adalah pertumbuhan, Feed Convention Ratio (FCR), dan Protein Efficiency Ratio (PER). Semua parameter yang diamati menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan tepung ikan rucah dalam pakan buatan pada perlakuan E memberikan pengaruh nyata dibandingkan perlakuan A, B, C, D, dan F dengan hasil nilai pertumbuhan dan PER tinggi, sedangkan nilai FCR rendah. Rata kunci: ikan nila, tepung ikan rucah, pertumbuhan, FCR, PER Abstract Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) was a freshwater fish that was high economic value and many cultivated, but farmers often have high meal prices because raw materials such as fish meal are still imports. It was necessary to find an alternative local raw materials such as trash fish meal that can replace the fish meal. This study aims to examine the effect of the substitution of fish meal with trash wish meal on the meal and to know the proportion of trash fish meal the most good for the growth of tilapia. This research uses a Completely Randomized Design with 6 treatments and 3 replications A (commercial pellet/control), B (100% fish meal), C (25% trash fish meal + 75% fish meal), D (50% trash fish meal + 50% fish meal), E (75% trash fish meal + 25% fish meal), F (100% trash fish meal). The data obtained was analyzed in ANOVA and continued with the test range of Duncan. Parameter observed were growth, Feed Convention Ratio (FCR), and Protein Efficiency Ratio (PER). All parameters showed that the used of trash fish meal in artificial diets in E treatment was significant compared to both growth and PER, while a low FCR to the other treatment.
