Abstrak

Abstrak Penggunaan musuh alami sebagai bioinsektisida mempunyai prospek yang cukup baik karena dapat menekan populasi hama dalam jangka waktu yang panjang, relatif murah dan ramah lingkungan. Salah satu musuh alami yang digunakan untuk mengendalikan hama yaitu jamur patogen serangga (entomopatogen) seperti Beauveria bassiana. Isolat yang berasal dari berbagai jenis inang dan daerah geografis yang berbeda dapat menyebabkan keragaman terhadap kerapatan spora sehingga mempengaruhi efektivitas B. bassiana dalam mengendalikan hama sasaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan isolat B. bassiana yang paling tinggi pengaruhnya terhadap mortalitas Helopeltis spp. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Hama dan Penyakit Tumbuhan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Lampung pada bulan September 2011 - Januari 2012. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari 6 perlakuan yaitu L1 (B. bassiana yang berasal dari UGM), L2 (B. bassiana yang berasal dari Trimurjo), L3 (B. bassiana yang berasal dari Gadingrejo), L4 (B. bassiana yang berasal dari Bantul), L5 (B. bassiana yang berasal dari Tegineneng), dan L0 (kontrol). Masing-masing perlakuan terdiri dari 4 kelompok waktu aplikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa isolat jamur Beauveria bassiana dari beberapa lokasi mempunyai pengaruh yang bervariasi dalam mengendalikan imago Helopeltis spp., isolat B. bassiana yang berasal dari Tegineneng, Gading rejo dan Trimurjo menghasilkan mortalitas lebih tinggi (67,50%), (65,00%), (58,75%) dibandingkan isolat B. bassiana yang berasal dari Bantul dan UGM (51,25%) dan (27,50%). Kata kunci : musuh alami, bioinsektisida, entomopatogen, mortalitas, Beauveria bassiana, Helopeltis spp. Abstract The use of natural enemies as bioinsecticida has good prospect because it can decrease pest population in a long time, relatively inexpensive and safe for the environment. One of natural enemies which is used for pest control is entomophatogenic fungus, Beauveria bassiana. Isolat from various source and different geographical able to cause diversity of fungus growth fungus and spore density until influence effectiveness Beauveria bassiana to control pest. The aim of this research was getting isolat of Beauveria bassiana which have higher influence on Helopeltis spp. mortallity. The research was conducted in Pest and Plant Disease Laboratory, Agriculture Faculty, Lampung University on September 2011-January 2012. The research arange with Randomized Block Design with 6 treatments which are L1 (B. bassiana from UGM), L2 (B. bassiana from Trimurjo), L3 (B. bassiana from Gadingrejo), L4 (B. bassiana from Bantul), L5 (B. bassiana from Tegineneng), L0 (control without treatment). The each treatments consist of 4 time replications. The result of reserach showed that Beauveria bassiana from several locations have various effect in controlling imago Helopeltis spp. B. bassiana from Tegineneng, Gadingrejo and Trimurjo producing higher mortality (67,50%), (65,00%), (58,75%), than Beauveria bassiana from Bantul and UGM (51,25%) and (27,50%).
