Abstract
Telah direalisasikan sensor kekeruhan dari bahan optik bentuk U untuk pengontrolan kekeruhan air kolam budi daya ikan menggunakan PLC. Sensor kekeruhan bahan optik bentuk U terdiri dari LED RGB sebagai transmitter dan LDR sebagai receiver. Dibuat juga sensor kekeruhan dari tabung optik bentuk lingkaran dan sensor kekeruhan tanpa bahan optik. Pengkalibrasian sensor terhadap tingkat kekeruhan menggunakan turbidimeter yang memiliki satuan Nephelometric Turbidity Units (NTU). Sampel air yang diukur dari 0 NTU-900 NTU. Pengontrolan kekeruhan air kolam budi daya ikan menggunakan PLC Omron CPM1A. Sistem pompa penghisap dan pembuangan air bekerja ketika kekeruhan air kolam mencapai kekeruhan referensi,yaitu 400 NTU. Saat kekeruhan berada dibawah kekeruhan referensi sistem berhenti bekerja. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menggunakan sensor kekeruhan bahan optik bentuk U output sensor berkisar 0,01 volt-0,03 volt. Sementara sensor kekeruhan bahan optik bentuk lingkaran memberikan respon tetap terhadap perubahan kekeruhan, dan sensor kekeruhan tanpa bahan optik memberikan respon linier. Kata Kunci. Bahan optik, Kekeruhan, PLC Omron CPM1A ANALYSIS AND UTILIZATION OF THE U SHAPE OPTICAL TUBE TO CONTROL POND FISH FARMING WATER TURBIDITY USING PLC It has been realized a turbidity sensor from U shape optical materials for controlling turbidity of pond’s water fish farming using PLC. U shape turbidity sensor consists of a RGB LED as transmitter and LDR as receiver. We also made a round-shape turbidity sensor from optical materials and turbidity sensor without optical materials. Turbidity sensor calibration on the level of turbidity using a turbidimeter, witch has units Nephelometric Turbidity Units (NTU).Water samples were measured from 0 NTU-900 NTU. The water turbidity of pond fish farming controlledby Omron PLC CPM1A. The vacuum pump system and sewerage works when the pool water turbidity reaches a reference turbidity, which is 400 NTU. When turbidity was under turbidity reference, system stops working. Based on the results of research using a Ushaped optical materials turbidity respond output sensor was only about 0.01 volts-0.03 volts. On the other hand the round-shape from optical materialsturbidity sensor did not respond to changes in turbidity, while the turbidity sensor without optical materials give linear response.
