ABSTRACT INFLUENCE OF FREE CASH FLOW TOWARDS DIVIDEND POLICY IN LQ45 INDONESIA PERIOD 2009-2011 By IRYULIAWATI The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Free Cash Flow to Dividend Policy. Samples were taken using purposive sampling. Total sample of 13 companies. Techniques data analysis was using multiple linear regression with panel data. This study used data from the annual financial statements for the years 2009-2011 by the study variable. The results of this study prove that Free Cash Flow is not a significant effect on Dividend Policy, Asset Growth control variables did not significantly influence the Dividend Policy, Size no significant effect on Dividend Policy, ROA significant effect on Dividend Policy. The results of F test results simultaneously there is significant effect between Free Cash Flow, Asset Growth, Size, and ROA to Dividend Policy. Key Words: Free Cash Flow and Dividend PayoutRatio. ABSTRAK PENGARUH FREE CASH FLOWTERHADAP DIVIDEND POLICYPADA PERUSAHAAN LQ45 DI INDONESIA PERIODE 2009-2011 Oleh IRYULIAWATI Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Free Cash Flow terhadap Dividend Policy. Sampel diambil menggunakan purposive sampling. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 13 perusahaan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan pendekatan data panel. Penelitian ini menggunakan data laporan keuangan tahunan dari tahun 2009-2011 untuk tiap variabel penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa Free Cash Flow berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap Dividend Policy, variabel kontrol Asset Growth berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap Dividend Policy, Size berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap Dividend Policy, ROA berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Dividend Policy. Hasil uji F secara simultan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara Free Cash Flow, Asset Growth, Size, dan ROA terhadap Dividend Policy. Kata Kunci: Free Cash Flow dan Dividend Payout Ratio.
