ABSTRACT EROSION EVALUATION OF INTEGRATED FIELD LABORATORY FACULTY OF AGRICULTURE UNIVERSITY OF LAMPUNG IN LAND UNITS APPROACH By ISKANDAR ZULKARNAIN FP Unila unified field laboratory is required to support Unila Vision, Mission and Vision of the Faculty of Agriculture Unila. Aside from being a supporter of the PBM (the learning process) and research, can also be used as a showcase (show window). This study aims to evaluate the erosion of the unified field laboratory FP Unila and studying alternative approach to land management with land units. The method used is a survey method that consists of the preparation phase, a preliminary survey, primary survey, soil analysis in the laboratory, and data analysis. Evaluation of erosion using the Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE). The experiment was conducted from April 2012 until May 2012 located at Integrated Field Laboratory the Faculty of Agriculture Unila. The results showed that the erosion of the land unit 2 is still well below the tolerable erosion. Erosion on the land units 3 slope 8-15% by using a mixture of garden soil and pasture that is 100.29 t / ha / yr. Erosion on land units 4 and 5 respectively of 831.74 t / ha / yr and 381.81 t / ha / yr. Erosion on land units 3,4, and 5 have exceeded the value of erosion that can still be tolerated and require agrotechnology. Agrotechnology for land units 3 is P0 (patio bench without plants) or a combination of bench terraces and swidden (P1C6). Land units 4 with the perfect combination of bench terraces and not in the specified moor (P1C2), or patio bench is perfect and good pasture (P1C1). 5 land units with a combination of bench terraces and a high density of annual plants (P1C3) or with an annual plant density is (P1C4). Agrotechnologi applied in addition to suppress erosion, will also suppress the loss of C-organic, macro nutrients (N, P and K), and enhance the aesthetic value of integrated FP Unila field laboratory. Loss of organic C can be reduced to 80.51%, 96.80% and 95.99% respectively in land units 3, 4, and 5 with the agrotechnology. Losses due to loss of elements N, P and K can be reduced to 91.50%, 99.24% and 97.00% on each land unit 3, 4, and 5. Keywords: land unit, agrotechnology, erosion, C-organic, macro nutrients ABSTRAK EVALUASI EROSI LABORATORIUM LAPANG TERPADU FAKULTAS PERTANIAN UNIVERSITAS LAMPUNG MELALUI PENDEKATAN SATUAN LAHAN Oleh ISKANDAR ZULKARNAIN Laboratorium lapang terpadu FP Unila sangat diperlukan untuk mendukung Visi Unila maupun Visi dan Misi Fakultas Pertanian Unila. Selain sebagai pendukung PBM (proses belajar mengajar) dan penelitian, juga dapat dijadikan sebagai etalase (show window). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi erosi pada laboratorium lapang terpadu FP Unila serta mempelajari alternatif pengelolaan lahan dengan pendekatan satuan lahan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey yang terdiri dari tahap persiapan, survey pendahuluan, survey utama, analisis tanah di laboratorium, dan analisis data. Evaluasi erosi menggunakan metode Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE). Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai April 2012 hingga Mei 2012 bertempat di Laboratorium Lapang Terpadu Fakultas Pertanian Unila. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa erosi pada satuan lahan 2 masih berada di bawah nilai erosi yang masih dapat ditoleransi. Erosi pada satuan lahan 3 dengan lereng 8 – 15 % dengan penggunaan lahan kebun campuran dan padang rumput yaitu 100,29 t/ha/th. Erosi pada satuan lahan 4 dan 5 masing-masing sebesar 831,74 t/ha/th dan 381,81 t/ha/th. Erosi pada satuan lahan 3,4, dan 5 telah melampaui nilai erosi yang masih bisa ditoleransi dan memerlukan agroteknologi. Agroteknologi untuk satuan lahan 3 adalah P0 (teras bangku tanpa tanaman) atau kombinasi teras bangku dan perladangan (P1C6). Satuan lahan 4 dengan kombinasi teras bangku sempurna dan tegalan tidak di dispesifikasi (P1C2), atau teras bangku sempurna dan padang rumput bagus (P1C1). Satuan lahan 5 dengan kombinasi teras bangku dan tanaman tahunan kerapatan tinggi (P1C3) atau dengan tanaman tahunan kerapatan sedang (P1C4). Agroteknologi yang diterapkan selain dapat menekan erosi, juga akan menekan kehilangan C-organik, unsur hara makro (N, P dan K), dan meningkatkan nilai estetika laboratorium lapang terpadu FP Unila. Kehilangan C-organik dapat ditekan hingga 80,51%, 96,80%, dan 95,99% berturut-turut pada satuan lahan 3, 4, dan 5 dengan agroteknologi tersebut. Kerugian akibat kehilangan unsur N, P dan K dapat ditekan hingga 91,50%, 99,24%, dan 97,00% pada masing-masing satuan lahan 3, 4, dan 5.
