Abstrak

ABSTRAK Masalah dalam penelitian ini rendahnya kemampuan siswa berinteraksi sosial sesama teman. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah ” Apakah kemampuan berinteraksi sosial sesama teman meningkat setelah mengikuti layanan bimbingan kelompok?”.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah Kemampuan berinteraksi sosial sesama teman pada siswa SMP PGRI 1 Gadingrejo dapat ditingkatkan melalui layanan bimbingan kelompok. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain one group pretestposttest, dianalisis dengan statistik non parametrik menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Subyek penelitian ini 6 siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berinteraksi sosial sesama teman rendah. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala interaksi sosial. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berinteraksi sosial sesama teman mengalami peningkatansignifikan setelah pemberian layanan bimbingan kelompok.Hal ini ditunjukkan dari hasil pretest dan posttest yang diperolehZ hitung = 2,201 dan Z tabel = 0, 028. Karena Z hitung > Z tabel, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dengan taraf signifikansi 5% antara skor interaksi sosial siswa sebelum dan setelah diberikan layanan bimbingan kelompok kepada subyek penelitian. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini, kemampuan berinteraksi sosial sesama teman siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui layanan bimbingan kelompok. Saran yang diberikan yaitu (1) Kepada Siswa hendaknya mengikuti kegiatan bimbingan kelompok untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berinteraksi sosialnya, (2) Kepada Guru pembimbing hendaknya dapat membantu dan mengadakan kegiatan bimbingan kelompok secara rutin untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berinteraksi sosial sesama teman pada khususnya dan untuk memecahkan masalah pada umumnya. Kata Kunci : Bimbingan Kelompok, Interaksi Sosial ABSTRACT The problem in this research was the decreasing number of students’ ability in doing social interaction to their peers. The research problem was “Does the students’ ability in social interaction to their peers increase after the students followed the group counseling?”. The objective of the research was to know whether the students’ ability in doing social interaction to their peers at SMP PGRI Gadingrejo could be improved through group counseling. The method used was quasi experiment method by using one group pretest-posttest design, analyzed by using non parametric statistics using wilcoxon test. The subjects of this research were 6 students who had low ability in doing social interaction to their peers. The collecting data technique in this research was using social interaction scale. The result showed that the students’ ability in doing social interaction to their peers had significantly increased after the teacher gave group counseling. It was indicated from the result of pre test and post test which was obtained Z count2,201 and Z table0,028. Since Z count > Z table, therefore Ho was denied and Ha was received, it meant that there was significantly differences with significance level 5% between students’ social interaction score before and after given group counseling to the subject of the research. In conclusion, the students’ ability in doing social interaction to their peers could be increased through group counseling. The suggestions given were (1) the students should follow the group counseling activity to increase the students’ ability in doing social interaction; (2) the guidance counselor should be able to help and hold group counseling routinely to increase the students’ ability in doing social interaction to their peers specifically and to solve the problems generally.
