Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan daerah permukiman di Kecamatan Balik Bukit Kabupaten Lampung Barat pada tahun 2005 sampai dengan tahun 2014. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dokumentasi. Teknik analisis dalam penelitian ini yaitu teknik analisis peta. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Perubahan luas daerah permukiman dalam kurun waktu 10 tahun sebesar 279 hektar atau 62,69%. 2) Pola permukiman yang terjadi adalah pola permukiman mengelompok (clustered). 3) Arah perkembangan permukiman yang terjadi sejak tahun 2005 sampai tahun 2014 lebih cenderung ke arah Utara. Kata kunci: perkembangan, daerah permukiman, permukiman The research aims to understand the growth of residential areas in Balik Bukit District Lampung Barat Regency in 2005 up to 2014. Methods in research was descriptive method. Data collection technique was documentation. Analysis techniques in research was map analysis. This research’s result indicated that: 1) the changes residential areas in the last 10 years worth 279 hectare or 62,69%. 2) settlement pattern found is clustered. 3) direction the growth of settlement since 2005 to 2014 is more dominant to North.
