Abstract
Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bukti empiris tentang pengaruh pertumbuhan ekonomi, inflasi dan kualitas sumber daya manusia terhadap tingkat pengangguran di Sumatera Tahun 2009 – 2013. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder yang disusun secara panel yang tersusun atas 10 Provinsi di Sumatera dari Tahun 2009 hingga Tahun 2013. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi berganda metode Ordinary Least Square (OLS) dengan pendekatan Fixed Effect Model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan ekonomi dan kualitas sumber daya manusia mempunyai pengaruh negatif dan signifikan sedangkan inflasi tidak mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap tingkat pengangguran di Sumatera. Kata Kunci: Pertumbuhan ekonomi, inflasi, kualitas sumber daya manusia, tingkat pengangguran, sumatera, OLS Abstract This study aims to obtain empirical evidence on the influence of economic growth, inflation and quality of human resources on unemployment rate in Sumatera in 2009 – 2013. The secondary data as used in the research such as panel data from 10 province of Sumatera from the periode 2009 until 2013. The analytical tool used is multiple regression method of Ordinary Least Square (OLS) approach to Fixed Effect Model. The research finding indicate that economic growth and quality of human resources have a negative and significant impact whereas inflation does not have significant impact on unemployment rate in Sumatera.
