Abstract

ABSTRAK INDONESIA Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh faktor tingkat pendidikan ibu, status ketenagakerjaan ibu, usia kawin pertama ibu, penggunaan alat kontrasepsi, dan tingkat pendapatan keluarga terhadap fertilitas. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kelurahan Sukarame, Kecamatan Sukarame, Kota Bandar Lampung. Tipe penelitian ini adalah ekplanasi dengan pendekatan secara kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 97 rumahtangga. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner dan dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan dengan cara analisis tabel frekuensi dan analisis regresi linier berganda melalui program pengolahan data statistik, yaitu SPSS. Hasil analisis regresi linier berganda menunjukkan bahwa nilai R Square variabel-variabel yang diteliti sebesar 0,324 atau sama dengan 32%. Dari 5 variabel independen yang diteliti, hanya variabel penggunaan alat kontrasepsi yang berpengauh secara signifikan terhadap fertilitas, sedangkan variabel tingkat pendidikan ibu, status ketenagakerjaan ibu, usia kawin pertama ibu, dan tingkat pendapatan keluarga tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap tingkat fertilitas. Kata Kunci: fertilitas, pendidikan ibu, status ketenagakerjaan ibu, usia kawin, penggunaan alat kontrasepsi, pendapatan keluarga. ABSTRAK INGGRIS This research’s goal is to identify how much influence factors the mother’s education level, employment status of the mother, the mother’s age at first marriage, use of contraceptives, and the rate of family income on fertility. This research did in Sukarame Village, Sukarame District, Bandar lampung. This type of research is explanation quantitative approach. The sampe of research 97 household. Data collection techniques in this researchs is questionnaires dan documentation, while the data analysis was done by analysis of frequency tables and multiple linear regression analysis through processing program of the statistical data, that called SPSS. The result of multiple linear regression analysis indicates that the variable determinat R Square as big as 0,324 or as big as to 32%. From 5 independent variables research, only variable that affects the use of contaceptives significantly. While the independent variable the mother’s education level, employment status of the mother, the mother’s age at first marriage, use of contraceptives, and the rate of family income doesn’t influence significantly the rate of fertility.
