Abstrak

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh status sosioal ekonomi orang tua terhadap motivasi belajar anak. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi kelas X dan XI SMA Negeri 10 Bandar Lampung. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu 87 responden, diambil secara purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, kuesioner, wawancara dan studi pustaka. Sedangkan analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji regresi linier sederhana. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah Ho : tidak ada pengaruh dan Ha : terdapat pengaruh. Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi linier sederhana yang dilakukan, menyatakan Ho ditolak dengan demikian terdapat pengaruh antara tingkat pendidikan dan jenis pekerjaan orang tua terhadap motivasi belajar anak yaitu tingkat pendidikan orang tua sebesar 0,000 dan jenis pekerjaan sebesar 0,003 dengan demikian kekuatan pengaruh antar variabel dikategorikan sedang. Penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa fenomena tingkat pendidikan orang tua dan jenis pekerjaan orang tua memiliki kontribusi yang besar terhadap motivasi belajar anak di SMA Negeri 10 Bandar Lampung. Kata Kunci: tingkat pendidikan orang tua dan jenis pekerjaan orang tua ,motivasi belajar anak ABSTRAK INGGRIS This study aims to determine the effect of socioeconomic status of parents to the children learning motivation. In this study, using quantitative methods. The study population was students of class X and XI SMAN 10 Bandar Lampung. The number of samples in this research is 87 respondents taken by purposive sampling. Data collection techniques in this study using observations, questionnaires, interviews and literature. While the analysis of data using simple regression test. The hypothesis of this study is Ho: no influence and Ha: there is an influence. Based on the results of a simple regression analysis were conducted, stating that Ho refused those there is influence between education level and the type of employment of parents of children learning motivation is parental education level of 0,000 and 0,003 types of work those the strength of influence between variables were categorized. This research resulted in the conclusion that the phenomenon of parents' education level and the type of work the parents had a huge contribution to the child's motivation to learn in SMAN 10 Bandar Lampung Keywords: parental education level and the type of work the parents, the child's learning motivation
