Abstract
Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi dan informasi saat ini memberi kemudahan kepada pengguna untuk melakukan pencarian informasi di website. Website fungsi teknis kepolisian merupakan website untuk melakukan pencarian dokumen. Dengan menerapkan Information Retrieval System menggunakan teknik Relevance Feedback pada website fungsi teknis kepolisian diharapkan pengguna mendapatkan informasi yang relevan. Pada teknik Relevant Feedback terdapat metode yang bisa digunakan salah satunya adalah algoritma Rocchio. Algoritma Rocchio bekerja dengan mendekatkan vektor query kepada dokumen-dokumen yang relevan dan menjauhkan kepada dokumen-dokumen yang tidak relevan. Hasil penelitian pada penerapan algoritma rocchio menunjukan bahwa semakin banyak kata yang relevan dari suatu dokumen maka akan semakin besar pula nilai relevansinya. Kata Kunci : Information Retrieval System, Relevance Feedback, Algoritma Rocchio Abstract Nowdays the development of information technology gives some easiness for users to search information from the website. Police technical function website is a website for documents searching. By implementing Information Retrieval System which uses Relevance Feedback in the police technical function website users are expected to be given relevant information. Relevant Feedback Technique has some methods that can be used, one of them is Rocchio Algorithm. Rocchio algorithm works by making query vector closer to relevant documents and setting apart the documents which are not relevant. The result of implementing Rocchio Algorithm research show that the more relevant words in a documents, the more relevant values that it has.
