Abstract
Jumlah alumni di Jurusan Ilmu Komputer dari tahun ke tahun terus meningkat, sehingga dibutuhkan sistem tracer study untuk mengelola data alumni. Penelitian ini dikembangkan dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan MySQL sedangkan metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah rational unified process (RUP). Terdapat empat fase yang dilakukan dalam pengembangan sistem tracer study yaitu fase inception, elaboration, construction dan transition. Pengujian sistem dilakukan sebanyak dua kali pengujian, yaitu pada saat fase construction dan pada saat fase transition. Pengujian sistem menggunakan black box testing yaitu equivalence partitioning. Hasil Penelitian ini mempermudah pendataan alumni, mengetahui kualitas dan kuantitas alumni, dan mempermudah jurusan dalam menentukan kebijakan dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas lulusan, mutu pendidikan dan akreditasi jurusan. ABSTRACT THE DEVELOPMENT OF TRACER STUDY SYSTEM AT COMPUTER SCIENCE DEPARTMENT BY USING RATIONAL UNIFIED PROCESS (RUP) The number of alumni in the Computer Science Department from year to year was increased, so it was needed a tracer study system to manage data alumni. This study was developed by using the programming language PHP and MySQL while the system development method that used was Rational Unified Process (RUP). There were four phases in the development of the tracer study system such as inception, elaboration, construction and transition phases. System testing was done by twice testing, which were the construction phase and during the transition phase. System testing used black box testing was equivalence partitioning. Results of this study were: facilitated data alumni collection, determined the quality and quantity of alumni, and facilitated the Department in determining the policy in order to improve the quality of graduates, the quality of education and department accreditation.
