Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
Smartphone merupakan kebutuhan primer untuk setiap kalangan pada zaman modern ini. Berbagai macam jenis serta kelebihan dari masing-masing smartphone ditawarkan untuk setiap orang yang ingin memilikinya, smartphone juga banyak digunakan untuk menyelesaikan suatu pekerjaan. Seiring perkembangan, muncul teknologi yaitu GIS (Global Positioning System) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui letak tempat yang akan dituju dan mengetahui keberadaan pengguna dengan bantuan sinyal satelit, GPS sendiri dapat memberikan informasi yang tepat dan akurat mengenai posisi, kecepatan, arah dan waktu. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti merancang dan membangun aplikasi pencarian ATM berbasis Android dengan nama ATM Maps yang memanfaatkan teknologi GIS di dalamnya. Aplikasi ini berguna untuk pencarian letak ATM yang berada di kota Bandar Lampung berdasarkan jalan, berdasarkan ATM dan berdasarkan kota Bandar Lampung, sehingga pengguna tidak lagi merasa kesulitan dalam pencarian lokasi ATM terutama untuk masyarakat yang tidak bertempat tinggal di kota Bandar Lampung. Selain itu aplikasi ini dapat menampilkan kode transfer setiap Bank sehingga dapat membantu pengguna dalam melakukan transfer tunai. Dalam membangun aplikasi peneliti menggunakan teknik parsing yaitu Xml Pull Parser dengan membandingkan data yang diletakkan pada folder assets project dan data pada server. Kesimpulan yang didapat dari penelitian ini adalah aplikasi ATM Maps berhasil dibangun dan berguna bagi setiap orang yang telah menggukan dibuktikan dengan rating sangat baik serta komentar memuaskan pada layanan Play Store. Pada aplikasi ini data diletakkan pada folder assets project dengan alasan aplikasi dapat diakses dengan mudah dan cepat serta proses update data dan aplikasi dapat di proses dengan mudah. ABSTRACT ANDROID-BASED SEARCH APPLICATION WITH GIS FOR LOCATING ATM IN BANDAR LAMPUNG Smartphone is a primary need for everyone in the modern era. Various features and advantages are offered by smartphone to those who use it. Smartphone is also widely used to help people to support their activities and to accomplish their work. Within the development of technology, GIS (Geographic Information System) has come along to provide service of locating a position of something in particular or a place to go. It is also used to locate its user with the help of satellite signal. GPS can provide precise and accurate information on the position, speed, direction, and time. In this study, the researcher designs and builds an Android- based search application called ATM Maps utilizing GPS technology. This application allows you to search the location of ATMs in the city of Bandar Lampung by the way, by the ATM and by the city of Bandar Lampung. In turn, users can avoid difficulty in finding the location of an ATM. This will be a great help particularly to those who do not reside in the city of Bandar Lampung. Furthermore, the application also displays the transfer code of each bank so as to assist users in making easier cash transfer. The application is developed utilizing parsing technique of XML Pull Parser. It compares the data stored in folder of Assets Project and that in the server. The conclusion of this study reveals that the ATM Maps is successfully constructed and proven to be useful for its users. It is indicated by excellent rating and comments of satisfaction on the Play Store. In this application, the data is stored in Project Assets folder in purpose of reaching easy and quick access.
