Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Masalah dalam penelitian ini ialah kemampuan menari Melinting siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri I Kotagajah Lampung Tengah Tahun Pelajaran 2011/2012. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan menari Melinting siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Kotagajah Lampung Tengah Tahun Pelajaran 2011/2012. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Populasi berjumlah 121 siswa kelas XI yang tersebar dalam tujuh kelas. Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan teknik proposional-cluster random sampling. Sampel diambil 20% dari populasi, sebanyak 24 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes perbuatan menari Melinting. Adapun indikator penilaian tes menari Melinting ini meliputi indikator wiraga (subindikator urutan gerak, teknik gerak, dan teknik penggunaan properti), indikator wirama (subindikator tempo/ketukan gerak), dan indikator wirasa (ekspresi wajah). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian skor rata-rata keseluruhan hasil tes kemampuan menari Melinting siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Kotagajah Lampung Tengah Tahun Pelajaran 2011/2012 tergolong dalam kategori baik. Hasil ini dapat dikategorikan dari rata-rata skor kemampuan menari siswa secara keseluruhan dengan skor 76,48. Pada indikator wiraga diperoleh skor dengan rata-rata 75,03, indikator wirama diperoleh skor dengan rata-rata 72,82 dan pada indikator wirasa diperoleh skor dengan rata-rata 72,75. The problem in this study is Melinting dance abilities of class XI students in SMAN 1 Kotagajah Central Lampung lessons of 2011/2012. This study aims to describe the Melinting dance abilities of class XI students in SMAN 1 Kotagajah Central Lampung lessons of 2011/2012. The method used in this research is descriptive method. A population of 121 students in class XI scattered in seven classes. In this study, used a proposional-cluster random sampling technique. The method used in the sample was taken from a population 20% of the population, as many as 24 students. Data collection techniques performed by Melinting dance act test. As for the indicators of Melinting dance test assessment include wiraga indicator (subindicator sequence motion, motion techniques, and techniques of use of property), wirama indicator (tempo/beat motion subindicator), and wirasa indicator (facial expressions). Based on the results of the study, the overall average score of the test results of Melinting dance abilities of class XI students in SMAN 1 Kotagajah Central Lampung lessons of 2011/2012 classified in good category. These results can be categorized by an average score of overall students dance ability with a score of 76,48. Wiraga indicator obtained with an average score of 75,03, wirama indicator obtained scores by an average of 72,82 and the wirasa indicator obtained with an average score of 72,75.
