Abstrak Salah satu pemasukan Pendapatan Asli Daerah yang potensial dan cukup diperhitungkan keberadaannya selain yang berasal dari Pajak Daerah adalah pemasukan dari Retribusi Daerah. Pengertian itu sendiri adalah iuran kepada pemerintah yang dapat dipaksakan dan mendapat jasa balik secara langsung. Menurut Peraturan Daerah Lampung Selatan Nomor 20 Tahun 2002 pasal 1, Retribusi Pengujian Kendaraan Bermotor adalah pembayaran atas pelayanan pengujian kendaraan bermotor sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku. Jumlah penerimaan retibusi pengujian kendaraan bermotor dipengaruhi oleh besarnya jumlah kendaraan yang melakukan pengujian kendaraan bermotor di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan dan besarnya tarif yang berlaku di kabupaten ini. Peningkatan jumlah kendaraan di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan bukan hanya disebabkan oleh terjadinya peningkatan jumlah penjualan kendaraan bermotor tetapi juga karena adanya kendaraan bermotor yang mutasi dari Propinisi lain ke Propinsi Lampung khususnya kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Disamping itu juga adanya kebutuhan yang meningkat dari berbagai bidang yaitu transportasi, perdagangan, dan perekonomian serta akibat dari peningkatan pembangunan di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. According to South Lampung District Regulation No. 20 of 2002 section 1, the Motor Vehicle Inspection Levy is the payment of motor vehicle testing services in accordance with laws and regulations. Total revenue retibusi vehicle testing is influenced by the large number of vehicles that perform the testing of motor vehicles in South Lampung regency and the tariff applicable in the district. Increasing number of vehicles in South Lampung District not only affected by the increased number of motor vehicle sales but also because of mutations in motor vehicle other than the province of Lampung Province at particular South Lampung regency. Besides, the need for an increase from various fields of transport, trade and economy as well as a result of increased development in South Lampung regency. This study aims to find the data we estimate the coefficient of motor vehicles in South Lampung regency and find out the estimated revenue levy testing of motor vehicles in South Lampung regency in future years 2009-2014. Based on the results of research and calculation dapaat concluded that: (1) the number of motor vehicles has increased so that retribution would also increase revenues, (2) factors that affect the number of compulsory vehicle testing and acceptance testing of motor vehicle levy is the number of motor vehicles and public awareness as a compulsory levy.
