Abstract
Abstrak Hutan rakyat merupakan salah satu alternatif untuk mengurangi tekanan sumber daya hutan yang diakibatkan oleh ekploitasi hutan yang berlebihan sehingga terjadi kerusakan dan penurunan produktivitas sumber daya hutan. Berdasarkan observasi yang dilakukan tingkat partisipasi masyarakat terhadap pengelolaan hutan rakyat sangatlah rendah. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari jumlah masyarakat yang mengelola hutan rakyat sebanyak 23 kepala keluarga (KK) dari 720 KK sehingga peneliti tertarik terhadap sedikitnya jumlah masyarakat yang mengelola hutan rakyat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui sistem pengelolaan hutan rakyat dan kontribusinya terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga petani. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi dan wawancara setelah itu dilakukan analisa secara deskriptif. Data yang digunakan meliputi data primer dan data sekunder dalam bentuk kualitatif maupun kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sistem pengelolaan hutan rakyat masih sederhana dan belum menggunakan teknik silvikultur yang baik. Kontribusi pengelolaan hutan rakyat terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga petani sebesar 43% dengan pendapatan hutan rakyat rata-rata sebesar Rp 21.866.464/ tahun serta pendapatan total rata-rata petani sebesar Rp 50.263.290/ tahun dan pendapatan perkapita rata-rata sebesar Rp 12.565.822,61/ tahun. Abstract Community forest is one of the alternative way for reducing the pressure destruction of forest resources that caused by over exploitation of natural forest. According to observation, the level participation of the community in forest management are very low. This can be seen from the data, out of 720 families in the village, are only 23 families actually participate and manage the community forest. The purpose of this study was to determine forest management systems of community forest and their contribution to household income of farmers. Data collection methods were used to observation and interviews were conducted after a descriptive analysis. Data used consisted of primary and secondary data in the form of qualitative or quantitative. Result of this study that the forest management system of community forest is simple and has not use a good silviculture techniques. However, it also the contribution of community forest management to the household incomes of farmers amounted to 43% by which and average incomes of farmers is Rp. 50.263.290/ year thus total of gross incomes from comunity forest is an average of Rp. 21.866.464/ year and average incomes per capita amounted to Rp. 12.565. 822.61/ year.
