Abstract
Latar Belakang: Infeksi nosokomial adalah infeksi pada pasien yang sedang dalam proses perawatan di rumah sakit. Klebsiella pneumoniae merupakan salah satu bakteri patogen penting dalam infeksi nosokomial. Antibiotik golongan betalaktam merupakan antibiotik yang paling sering digunakan dalam penanganan infeksi Klebsiella pneumonia. Seiring berjalan waktu, antibiotik ini menjadi kurang sensitif akibat penggunaan yang tidak sesuai, sehingga munculah bakteri resisten yang telah bermutasi dan menghasilkan enzim Extended Spectrum Beta Lactamase (ESBL). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbandingan keberadaan Extended spectrum β-lactamase (ESBL) yang dihasilkan bakteri Klebsiella pneumoniae sampel feses perawat di ruang rawat inap dewasa dan ruang rawat inap anak RSUD Abdul Moeloek Bandar Lampung. Metode: Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Pemeriksaan Klebsiella pneumoniae dilakukan dengan uji identifikasi bakteri dari sampel feses perawat diruang rawat inap anak dan dewasa. Uji resistensi dengan metode kirby bauer dan uji keberadaan ESBL dengan metode Double Diffusion Test (DDT). Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan Bakteri Klebsiella pneumoniae 5,9% % di ruang rawat inap anak, sebanyak 8,8% diruang rawat inap dewasa dan bakteri selain Klebsiella pneumoniae yang ditemukan sebanyak 85,3%. Tidak ditemukan ESBL pada uji DDT sehingga tidak dapat diuji analisis secara statistik. Simpulan: Tidak terdapat perbandingan keberadaan Extended Spectrum β-lactamase (ESBL) yang dihasilkan bakteri Klebsiella pneumoniae sampel feses perawat di ruang rawat inap dewasa dan ruang rawat inap anak RSUD Abdul Moeloek Bandar Lampung. Kata kunci: ESBL, feses, Klebsiella pneumoniae, perawat. ABSTRAK BAHASA INGGRIS Background: Nosocomial infections are infections in patients who are in the process treatment in hospital. Klebsiella pneumoniae is one of the important bacterial pathogens in nosocomial infections. Class of beta-lactam antibiotics are the most commonly used antibiotics in the treatment of infections Klebsiella pneumonia. As the running time, antibiotics are becoming less sensitive due to improper usage, so it appears resistant bacteria that have mutated and produce enzymes Extended Spectrum Beta lactamase (ESBL). The aim of this study was to compare the presence of Extended-spectrum β-lactamase (ESBL) produced by Klebsiella pneumoniae in faeces samples of nurses in inpatient adult and children's inpatient hospital Abdul Moeloek Bandar Lampung. Methods: This research was conducted with cross sectional approach. Klebsiella pneumoniae examination conducted by the bacteria identification test of stool samples of nurses in inpatient children and adults. The resistance test by Kirby bauer method and test for the presence of ESBL by Double Diffusion Test (DDT) methods. Results: Results of this study showed that Klebsiella pneumoniae was found 5,9% in inpatient children, 8,8% in the adult inpatient unit and besides Klebsiella pneumoniae are found as much as 85,3%. ESBL is not found in DDT test, so it could not analyzed statistically. Conclusions: There is no comparison of the presence of Extended-Spectrum β-lactamase (ESBL) produced by bacteria Klebsiella pneumoniae in faeces samples of nurses in inpatient adult and children's inpatient hospital Abdul Moeloek Bandar Lampung.
