Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui nilai MPPA kambing Boerawa G1 dan G2 berdasarkan bobot anak umur 6 bulan pada masing–masing tetua, membandingkan nilai MPPA bobot anak umur 6 bulan Boerawa G1 dan G2, dan memilih sejumlah induk kambing Boerawa G2 berdasarkan nilai replacement stock di Kecamatan Sumberejo, Kabupaten Tanggamus. Materi penelitian yang digunakan yaitu 30 ekor induk kambing Boerawa G1 dan G2 di Kelompok Tani Karya Makmur I dan II serta Pelita Karya III di Desa Wonoharjo, Kecamatan Sumberejo, Kabupaten Tanggamus. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode survei dan pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Peubah yang diamati meliputi bobot sapih, bobot anak umur 6 bulan, dan umur induk saat melahirkan pertama dan kedua. Data dianalisis dengan uji t-student. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata bobot 6 bulan terkoreksi kambing Boerawa G1(20,57 ± 1,12 kg) tidak berbeda nyata (P>0,05) dengan Boerawa G2 (22,70 ± 1,06 kg). Nilai ripitabilitas kambing Boerawa G1 (0,29) dan G2 (0,33) tergolong sedang. Hasil uji t-student menunjukkan nilai MPPA kambing Boerawa G1 (20,57) dan G2 (22,70) bobot anak umur 6 bulan tidak berbeda nyata (P>0,05); terdapat 10 ekor kambing Boerawa G2 yang baik untuk dipertahankan berdasarkan nilai MPPA bobot anak umur 6 bulan, yaitu JJ2 (23,49 kg), DD3 (23,42 kg), LL1 (23,40 kg), JJ1 (23,32 kg), BB3 (23,29 kg), GG1 (23,27 kg), AA1 (23,14 kg), EE2 (23,08 kg), AA2 (23,05 kg), dan GG2 (23,05 kg). Kata kunci: Boerawa Grade 1, Boerawa Grade 2, bobot 6 bulan, dan nilai MPPA. ABSTRAK BAHASA INGGRIS This aim to determine the value of MPPA of G1 and G2 Boerawa Goat base on 6 month from each doe, compare MPPA value of G1 and G2 6 month Boerawa weight, and select a number of does of G2 Boer base on replacement stock value in Sumberejo District, Tanggamus Regency. The research is held by surveying with purposive sampling method. The used matter in the research is records of 30 tail G1 and 30 tail G2 doe Boerawa in Karya Makmur (kelompok tani) I, II, and Pelita Karya III in Wonoharjo Village, Sumberejo District, Tanggamus. The observed variables include wean weight, 6 month weight, and the age of does at the first and second births. Analyzed with t-student distribution test. The average weight of G1 6 month Boerawa is corrected (20,57 ± 1,12 kg), and does not significant difference (P>0.05) than G2 Boerawa (22,70 ± 1,06 kg). The ripitabilitas value of G1 Boerawa goat (0,29) and G2 (0,33) is being. The results analyzed with t-student distribution test is MPPA value G1 (20,57) and G2 (22,70) Boerawa goat also quite same (P>0.05). There are 10 G2 Boerawa have the highest MPPA, they are JJ2 (23,49 kg), DD3 (23,42 kg), LL1 (23,40 kg), JJ1 (23,32 kg), BB3 (23,29 kg), GG1 (23,27 kg), AA1 (23,14 kg), EE2 (23,08 kg), AA2 (23,05 kg), and GG2 (23,05 kg).
