Abstrak

ABSTRAK PRARANCANGAN PABRIK SODIUM TRIPOLYPHOSPHATE DARI ASAM FOSFAT DAN NATRIUM KARBONAT KAPASITAS 50.000 TON/TAHUN (Perancangan Reactor (RE-201)) Oleh NINA FEBRIANTINA Pabrik Sodium Tripolyphosphate berbahan baku asam fosfat dan natrium karbonat, direncanakan didirikan di Balikpapan, Kalimantan Timur. Pendiriaan pabrik berdasarkan atas pertimbangan ketersediaan bahan baku, sarana transportasi yang memadai, tenaga kerja yang mudah didapatkan dan kondisi lingkungan. Pabrik direncanakan memproduksi Sodium Tripolyphosphate sebanyak 50.000 ton/tahun, dengan waktu operasi 24 jam/hari, 330 hari/tahun. Bahan baku yang digunakan adalah asam fosfat sebanyak 5.118,8631 kg/jam dan natrium karbonat sebanyak 4.613,9412 kg/jam. Penyediaan kebutuhan utilitas pabrik terdiri dari unit pengadaan air, pengadaan steam, pengadaan udara instrument, pengadaan listrik, pengadaan refrigerant dan pengolahan limbah. Bentuk perusahaan adalah Perseroan Terbatas (PT) menggunakan struktur organisasi line dan staff dengan jumlah karyawan sebanyak 198 orang. Dari analisis ekonomi diperoleh: Fixed Capital Investment (FCI) = Rp. 877.449.311.710,- Working Capital Investment (WCI) = Rp. 154.843.996.184,- Total Capital Investment (TCI) = Rp. 1.032.293.307.894,- Break Even Point (BEP) = 52,329% Shut Down Point (SDP) = 28,361% Pay Out Time before taxes Pay Out Time after taxes Return on Investment before taxes (POT)b (POT)a (ROI)b = = = 2,694 tahun 3,155 tahun 22,79% Return on Investment after taxes (ROI)a = 18,23% Discounted cash flow (DCF) = 24,48% Mempertimbangkan paparan di atas, sudah selayaknya pendirian pabrik Sodium Tripolyphosphate ini dikaji lebih lanjut, karena merupakan pabrik yang menguntungkan dan mempunyai masa depan yang baik. ABSTRACT MANUFACTURING OF SODIUM TRIPOLYPHOSPHATE FROM PHOSPHORIC ACID AND SODIUM CARBONATE WITH CAPACITY 50.000 TONS/YEAR (Design of Reactor (RE-201)) By NINA FEBRIANTINA Sodium Tripolyphosphate plant with raw materials, phosphoric acid and sodium carbonate is planned to be built in Balikpapan, Kalimantan Timur. Establishment of this plant is based on some consideration due to the raw material resourcess, the transportation, the labors availability and also the environmental condition. This plant is meant to produce 50,000 tons/year with 330 working days in a year. The raw materials used consist of 5.118,8631 kg/hour of phosphoric acid and 4.613,9412 kg/hour of sodium carbonate. The utility units consist of water supply system, steam supply system, instrument air supply system, power generation system, refrigerant supply system and waste treatment system. The bussines entity form is Limited Liability Company (Ltd) using line and staff organizational structure with 198 labors. From the economic analysis, it is obtained that: Fixed Capital Investment (FCI) = Rp. 877.449.311.710,- Working Capital Investment (WCI) = Rp. 154.843.996.184,- Total Capital Investment (TCI) = Rp. 1.032.293.307.894,- Break Even Point (BEP) = 52,329% Shut Down Point (SDP) = 28,361% Pay Out Time before taxes Pay Out Time after taxes Return on Investment before taxes (POT)b (POT)a (ROI)b = = = 2,694 tahun 3,155 tahun 22,79% Return on Investment after taxes (ROI)a = 18,23% Discounted cash flow (DCF) = 24,48% Considering the summary above, it is proper to study the establishment of Sodium Tripolyphosphate plant further, because the plant is profitable and has good prospects.
