Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan status sosial ekonomi dengan orietasi orang tua terhadap jenjang pendidikan anak petani kelapa sawit kelas menengah atas dengan kelas menengah bawah. Penelitian ini mengambil lokasi di Desa Natar, Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Sesuai dengan masalah dan tujuan penelitian, maka penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Populasinya adalah 60 orang yang merupakan keluarga petani kelapa sawit terdiri atas 20 orang petani kelapa sawit menengah kebawah dan 40 orang petani kelapa sawit menengah keatas. Sampel yang dipakai sebanyak 60 orang, dimana jumlah populasi sama dengan jumlah sampel, karena jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini kurang dari 100. Tehnik analisi data yang dipakai menggunakan uji Regresi untuk melihat hubungan yang signifikan dengan bantuan seri program statistik (SPSS 16.0). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa : nilai signifikan antara Status Sosial ekonomi responden dengan jenjang pendidikan anak dimana semakin tinggi Status sosial ekonomi responden, maka jenjang pendidikan anak juga tinggi. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil perhitungan product moment, dimana r hitung lebih besar dari pada r tabel dengan taraf kepercayaan 99%. Dan nilai signifikan anatara orientasi orang tua responden dengan jenjang pendidikan anak. Dimana semakin tinggi Orientasi orang tua responden, maka jenjang pendidikan anak juga tinggi.Hal ini terbukti dari hasil perhitungan product moment, r hitung lebih besar dari pada r tabel dengan taraf kepercayaan 99%. Kata kunci : Petani kelapa sawit, kuantitatif deskriptif, uji Regresi. ABSTRAK BAHASA INGGRIS Student of Faculty of Social and Political Science in Lampung University This study aims to analyze the relationship between socio-economic status with the orientation of parents towards education of children oil palm growers upper middle class to lower middle class. This study took place in the village Natar, South Lampung regency. In accordance with the problem and research objectives, this study used quantitative methods. The population is 60 people who are family smallholders comprised of 20 oil palm growers medium and 40 oil palm growers middleclass. The samples used were 60, where the total population is equal to the number of samples, because the population in this study is less than 100. The technique of data analysis using regression test used to see a significant relationship with the help of series statistical program (SPSS 16.0). Based on the results of this study concluded that: a significant value between Socio-economic status of respondents with education level of children where the higher socio-economic status of the respondents, the education of children is also high. This is evident from the results of calculations of product moment, where r is bigger than r table with a confidence level of 99%. Anatara significant value orientation and parent respondents with children's education. Orientation where the higher the respondents' parents, the child's education tinggi.Hal also is evident from the calculation of product moment, r count is greater than r table with a confidence level of 99%.
