Abstrak

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk, (1) mengetahui hubungan persepsi karir terhadap kinerja guru IPS DAN PKN SMP/MTS Lampung Utara; (2) mengetahui hubungan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja guru IPS dan PKN SMP/MTs Lampung Utara; (3) mengetahui hubungan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru IPS dan PKN SMP/MTs Lampung Utara; (4) mengetahui pengaruh hubungan persepsi karir, disiplin kerja, dan motivasi kerja secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru IPS DAN PKn SMP/MTs Lampung Utara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif menggunakan cara analitik, yaitu dengan asosiatif korelasi. Hasil penelitian menyatakan: (1) ada hubungan yang signifikan persepsi karir terhadap kinerja guru dengan koefisien korelasi parsial sebesar 0,282 %; (2) ada hubungan yang signifikan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja guru dengan koefisien korelasi parsial sebesar 0,381 %; (3) ada hubungan yang signifikan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru dengan koefisien korelasi parsial sebesar 0,538 %; (4) ada hubungan yang signifikan persepsi karir, disiplin kerja, dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru dengan koefisien korelasi ganda sebesar 0,545 % dengan pengaruh yang positif. Dengan demikian semakin baik persepsi karir, disiplin kerja, dan motivasi kerja maka akan semakin baik pula kinerja guru. Kata kunci: persepsi karir, disiplin kerja, motivasi kerja, kinerja guru ABSTRACT This research is firstly aimed to determine the correlation between career perceptions towards the performance of social science and citizenship teacher at junior high school and madrasah tsanawiyah in North Lampung. Second, to determine the correlation between discipline towards the performance of social science and citizenship teacher at junior high school and madrasah tsanawiyah in North Lampung. Thirdly, to determine the correlation between work motivation towards the performance of social science and citizenship teacher at junior high school and madrasah tsanawiyah in North Lampung. Forthly, to know the correlation among perception of career, work dicipline, and work motivation of social science and citizenship teachers towards teacher’s performance at junior high school and madrasah tsanawiyah in North Lampung. The method used in this research is analytical quantitative with correlation associative. The result of this research states that: (1) there is a significant correlation between career perception towards teacher’s performance with partial correlation coefficient of 0.282%; (2) there is a significant correlation between work discipline towards teacher’s performance with partial correlation coefficient of 0.381%; (3) there is a significant correlation between work motivation towards teacher’s performance with partial correlation coefficient of 0.538%; (4) there is a significant correlation between perceptions of career, work discipline, and work motivation towards teacher’s performance with multiple correlation coefficient of 0.545% with a positive correlation. Thus, the better the perception of careers, work discipline, and work motivation towards teacher’s performance, then the better it will be.
