Abstrak

Cost of equity capital merupakan bagian yang harus dikeluarkan perusahaan untuk memberi kepuasan pada investornya pada tingkat risiko tertentu. Penelitian ini berfokus pada perusahaan sektor barang konsumsi yang saat ini kepemilikannya identik dengan penanaman modal asing. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuktikan secara empiris pengaruh item-item yang terdapat dalam laporan keuangan yaitu pengungkapan sukarela, beta saham yang mewakili risiko investasi, dan ukuran perusahan yang mewakili besar kecilnya perusahaan terhadap cost of equity capital. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari laporan tahunan, perusahaan yang diambil sebagai sampel 31perusahaan yang dilakukan secara purposive sampling, dan jumlah observasi yang dilakukan selama tahun 2012-2014 adalah 93 item observasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi berganda dengan software SPSS 17.0, serta uji statistik t sebagai uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa variabel beta saham, dan total asset secara statistik dan secara individual berpengaruh secara negatif terhadap cost of equity capital. Sedangkan Variabel disclosure tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap cost of equity capital. Kata Kunci : Pengungkapan Sukarela, Beta Saham, Ukuran Perusahaan, Cost Of Equity Capital. The Effect Of Voluntary Disclosure, Beta Stocks, And Firm Size To Cost Of Equity Capital On Consumer Goods Company In Indonesia Cost of equity capital is the part that must be issued by the company to give satisfaction to the investors on a certain level of risk. This study focuses on the sector consumer goods companies are now synonymous with the ownership of foreign investment. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate empirically the effect of the items contained in the financial statements of the voluntary disclosure, beta shares representing investment risk, and the size of the company that represents the size of the company to the cost of equity capital. The data used in this research is secondary data obtained from the annual report, the company sampled 31 companies conducted by purposive sampling, the observations made during the year 2012-2014 is 93 items observations. Data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis with SPSS 17.0 software, as well as the t statistical test of hypothesis testing. The study says that the variable beta stocks, and total assets individually statistically and adversely affect the cost of equity capital.
