Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui partisipasi istri nelayan dalam pemanfaatan sumberdaya pesisir untuk upaya pengentasan kemiskinan di Desa Margasari Kecamatan Labuhan Maringgai Kabupaten Lampung Timur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan stratified random sampling dengan sampel 93 responden. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan tabel frekuensi dengan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi partisipasi istri nelayan secara internal meliputi usia, pendidikan, lamanya tinggal dan faktor eksternal meliputi nelayan, juragan, pedagang ikan, pengolah ikan, pemasok ikan, pemerintah daerah. (2) Bentuk partisipasinya berupa uang, harta benda, tenaga dan keterampilan. (3) Tipe partisipasinya berupa partisipasi pasif, informatif, insentif, fungsional, dan mobilisasi diri. (4) Partisipasi dalam pemanfaatannya meliputi mengumpulkan, menyeleksi, mengolah, mengasinkan dan menjual. (5) Strategi pengentasan kemiskinan yang dikembangkan adalah menjemput produk olahan ikan asin ke pulau, mengolah buah mangrove menjadi sirup, mengolah jeruju menjadi peyek, mengolah alga menjadi obat, dan menanam sayuran. Kata Kunci: Partisipasi, Istri, Sumberdaya Pesisir, Pengentasan Kemiskinan, Nelayan. ABSTRAK BAHASA INGGRIS The Purpose of this research is to know the participation of fisherman’s wife in utilizing the littoral resources to clear the poverty in Margasari’s Village Labuhan Maringgai District East Lampung Regency. The Method which is used in this research is descriptive with quantitative approach. The sample tehnic using stratified random sampling with 93 respondent samples. The data are collected by questioner. The data analytic tehnic uses frequency table with SPSS. The result of this research show that (1) the factors which influence the fisherman’s wife participation internally included the age, education, domicile, and eksternal factor are included fisherman, skipper, fish seller, fish supplier, fish distributor and government. (2) the participation form such as money, property, energy, and skills (3) the participation type such as passive participation, informative, insentif, functional and self mobilization. (4) the participation are included collecting, selecting, salting, selling and creating. (5) the strategy of clearing poverty which is developed are taking the salted fish processed to the island, process the mangrove’s fruit into cyrus, process Jeruju into Peyek, process Alga into medicine and planting the vegetables.
