Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pola komunikasi formal dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan Provinsi Lampung. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, studi dokumentasi, dan observasi. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah upaya untuk meningkatkan kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Kelautan dan perikanan melaui pendekatan pola komunikasi formal perlu terus diupayakan melalui bentuk-bentuk komunikasi antar personal, oleh sebab itu dalam rangka mencapai tujuan organisasi dalam konteks kinerja, dibutuhkan pola komunikasi formal yang disesuaikan dengan lingkungan kerja, yang dalam hal ini organisasi Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan Provinsi Lampung yang memiliki visi dan misi dengan pola-pola komunikasi formal. Teknik análisis data dilakukan berdasarkan tahap reduksi data, display (penyajian data), verifikasi (menarik kesimpulan). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola komunikasi formal di Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan Provinsi Lampung penerapannya sudah baik pada horizontal communication, downward communication, upward communication dan diagonal communication. Sehingga, dari hasil tersebut didapatkan bahwa horizontal communication merupakan pola komunikasi formal organisasi yang penerapannya paling efektif, yaitu dimana para pegawai maupun pimpinan yang selevel dalam tingkatan organisasi bertemu untuk mendiskusikan kontribusi dan koordinasi tugas untuk tujuan dinas. Selain itu komunikasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan komunikasi media yaitu SMS, BBM Group dan Email. Pola komunikasi formal organisasi pada Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan Provinsi Lampung memiliki hubungan yang erat dengan kinerja pegawai dari mulai sedang, terkuat secara berturut-turut memiliki hubungan yang signifikan adalah horrizontal Communication, Downward Communication dan Upward communication. Hasil analisis persepsi pegawai Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan Provinsi Lampung mengenai kerja seperti motivasi, pengetahuan, peran dan keterampilan sudah sangat baik dan mendukung peningkatan kinerja pegawai. Kata Kunci: Pola Komunikasi Formal, Kinerja, Pegawai abstrak bahasa inggris The purpose of this study was to analyze the pattern of formal communication in improving the performance of employees at the Department of Marine and Fisheries Lampung Province. The problem in this research is to improve the performance of employees at the Department of Marine and fisheries through the approach pattern formal communication need to be pursued through other forms of interpersonal communication, therefore, in order to achieve organizational goals in the context of performance, it takes the pattern of formal communication that are tailored to work environment, which in this case organization Marine and Fisheries Agency of Lampung Province who have the vision and mission of the patterns of formal communication.The technique of collecting data through interviews, documentary studies, and observations. The data analysis technique based on the data reduction phase, display (presentation of data), verification (draw conclusions). The results showed that the formal communication patterns in the Marine and Fisheries Agency of Lampung Province is already well on the horizontal application communication, downward communication, upward communication and diagonal communication. Thus, from these results showed that horizontal communication is the communication patterns of formal organization whose application is most effective, ie where employees and leadership of the same level in the levels of the organization met to discuss the contribution and coordination tasks for official purposes. Moreover communication is done by using communication media, namely SMS, BBM Group and Email. Formal communication patterns in the organization's Marine and Fisheries Agency of Lampung Province has a close relationship with the employee's performance from start to moderate, the strongest in a row to have a significant relationship is horrizontal Communication, Communication Downward and Upward communication. The results of the analysis of employee perceptions Marine and Fisheries Agency of Lampung Province on work such as motivation, knowledge, roles and skills has been very good and support improved employee performance.
