ABSTRACT POLITICAL ATTITUDE OF ETHNIC BANTEN IN ELECTION MAYOR AND DEPUTY MAYOR BANDAR LAMPUNG 2015 By SUCI PEBRINA The issue of ethnic sentiment be a discourse that is quite interesting in the Election of Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Bandar Lampung Year 2015. The couple Tabhroni Harun-Komarunizar forward as a candidate bring the issue of ethnic sentiment Banten with consideration of number of ethnic Banten are pretty much in Bandar Lampung. The aim of this research is to determine the political attitude of ethnic Banten in Election Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Bandar Lampung in 2015. Political attitude of ethnic Banten can be seen from three components political attitudes, such as cognitive, affective and evaluative. This research use qualitative descriptive methode, because this research aims to depict or describe in detail the phenomenon political attitude of ethnic Banten. The data collected from in-depth interview with eight informants in the two villages, such as Kaliawi Village and Batuk Putuk Village. The results show that 1. The cognitive component, most informants in both villages to know the time of election, candidate, vision and mission, figure / persona of a couple Tabhroni Harun-Komarunizar; 2. On the affective component show that most informants pleased with the whole process of elections other than the informant also glad that there is a candidate for vice mayor of advanced ethnic Banten, but the informant claimed, was not too happy with the figure / persona of Tabhroni Harun and Komarunizar, because they can not be representative of the ethnic Banten; 3. In the evaluative component attribute that society considers that the Commission has been successfully conducting election of regional heads simultaneously in the city of Bandar Lampung. Couple Tobroni Harun- Komarunizar assessed the ability to lead but not able to lead the city of Bandar Lampung. Related informant rating of the vision, mission and figure/ persona of almost the entire both informant in two villages give a negative assessment that is the attitude that show rejection or disapproval to the figure of Tabhroni Harun-Komarunizar. Keywords: Political attitude, ethnic banten, components of attitude ABSTRAK SIKAP POLITIK ETNIS BANTEN DALAM PEMILIHAN WALI KOTA DAN WAKIL WALI KOTA BANDAR LAMPUNG TAHUN 2015 Oleh SUCI PEBRINA Isu sentimen etnis menjadi diskursus yang cukup menarik dalam Pemilihan Wali Kota dan Wakil Wali Kota Bandar Lampung Tahun 2015. Pasangan Tabhroni Harun-Komarunizar maju sebagai kandidat dengan membawa isu sentimen etnis Banten dengan pertimbangan jumlah warga banten yang cukup banyak di Kota Bandar Lampung. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sikap politik etnis Banten dalam Pemilihan Wali Kota dan Wakil Wali Kota Bandar Lampung Tahun 2015. Sikap politik etnis Banten dilihat dari tiga komponen sikap politik yaitu, kognitif, afektif dan evaluatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskripstif, karena penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan atau mendeskripsikan secara terperinci mengenai fenomena sikap politik etnis Banten. Data yang dikumpulkan berasal dari hasil wawancara mendalam dengan delapan informan di dua kelurahan, yaitu Kelurahan Kaliawi dan Kelurahan Batuk Putuk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1. Pada komponen kognitif, sebagian besar informan di kedua kelurahan mengetahui waktu pelaksanaan pemilihan kepala daerah, pasangan calon, visi dan misi, hingga figur/ketokohan dari pasangan Tabhroni Harun-Komarunizar; 2. Pada komponen afektif, menunjukan bahwa sebagian besar informan senang dengan seluruh proses pelaksanaan pemilihan selain itu informan juga merasa senang karena ada calon wakil walikota yang maju berasal dari etnis Banten, namun informan menyatakan, tidak terlalu menyukai figur/ketokohan dari Tabhroni Harun dan Komarunizar, karena dianggap belum bisa menjadi representasi masyarakat Banten; 3. Pada komponen evaluatif menujukan bahwa masyarakat menilai bahwa KPU telah sukses melaksanakan pemilihan umum kepala daerah serentak di Kota Bandar Lampung. Pasangan Tabhroni Harun-Komarunizar dinilai memiliki kemampuan untuk memimpin namun dinilai tidak mampu untuk memimpin Kota Bandar Lampung. Terkait penilaian informan tentang visi misi dan figur/ketokohan hampir seluruh informan di kedua kelurahan memberikan penilaian negatif, yaitu sikap yang menunjukan atau memperlihatkan penolakan atau tidak menyetujui terhadap ketokohan Tabhroni Harun-Komarunizar.
