Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

In order for effective learning, development of teaching materials is quite important. So, the purpose of this research is to produce writing teaching materials based character values of Islam to MTs Hasanuddin Bandarlampung Class VIII Semester 1 that capable improving the quality of teaching and learning by integrating the values of the Islamic character of the students. This study uses a model of Research and Development Research (DRD) with three main stages, 1) preliminary research, 2) product development, and 3) test the effectiveness of the product. The procedure research begins with preliminary study to obtain information about the objective conditions of learning and teaching materials based on the needs of the Islamic character. The next step is to designing and developing products writing teaching materials based Islamic character, peer assessment, testing experts, small-scale trials, and wide-scale trials. Revised product development carried out by the inputs of each assessment or test that performed to result produce of teaching materials that ready to do effectiveness test in real learning. The final step is to test the effectiveness of writing teaching materials as product development by implementing in the real learning at MTs Hasanuddin Bandarlampung. Data from a series of assessments and tests at this stage of development is the form of quantitative and qualitative data from the questionnaires, interviews, and observations were analyzed using triangulation techniques to obtain test results and maximum input. Test of effectiveness of the product are in the form pretest and posttest scores. The test results show that the effectiveness of the learning process by using writing teaching materials based on Islamic values can improve the quality of learning outcomes, quality of learning, education and Islamic character. This can be proved by comparison pretest and posttest scores. Comparison of mean pretest and posttest scores showed obvious improvement, the results of the analysis gain is middle categorized, and through statistical analysis of T-Test paired samples SPSS 7.0 for Windows generates a significant difference. Results of interviews with teachers and students also revealed that students are motivated to learn, engaged, enthusiastic, have the courage to ask and expression, respect for others, collaborating and helping each other, and able to assess and demonstrate the truth as a reflection akhlaqul-karimah. The findings in this study are useful for teachers, students, and MTs Hasanuddin as a material consideration in the preparation of the next curriculum. The findings in this study can be developed and utilized for the purposes of further development. Keywords: teaching materials, writing, character of Islam Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah pengembangan lembar kegiatan siswa pembelajaran menulis puisi berbasis nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam syair lagu-lagu keroncong ciptaan Gesang untuk siswa SMP kelas VII. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan lembar kegiatan siswa untuk pembelajaran menulis puisi berbasis nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam syair lagu-lagu keroncong ciptaan Gesang untuk siswa SMP kelas VII. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan . Data diolah secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Prosedur penelitian ini diawali dengan melakukan penelitian pendahuluan untuk memperoleh informasi awal tentang kondisi objektif pembelajaran dan kebutuhan lembar kegiatan siswa, dilanjutkan dengan melakukan tahapan-tahapan uji, di antaranya uji teman sejawat yang dilakukan oleh guru Bahasa Indonesia pada tiga sekolah yang diteliti, uji ahli, dalam hal ini melibatkan pakar di bidang teknologi pendidikan dan pakar di bidang pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, serta uji skala besar dan skala kecil. Revisi produk pengembangan dilakukan berdasarkan masukan-masukan dari setiap penilaian berdasarkan tahapan-tahapan uji. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa syair lagu-lagu keroncong ciptaan Gesang sarat dengan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter. Nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter tersebut adalah religius, jujur, toleran, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, demokratif, rasa ingin tahu,semangat kebangsaan, cinta tanah air, menghargai prestasi, bersahabat, cinta damai, gemar membaca, peduli lingkungan, peduli sosial, dan tanggung jawab. Syair lagu-lagu tersebut sangat relevan untuk dijadikan bahan ajar sastra di SMP. Bahan ajar berupa lembar kegiatan siswa dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi berbasis syair lagu. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi alternatif pembelajaran sastra di SMP kelas VII semester genap dalam Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP). Kata Kunci: Nilai pendidikan karakter, implikasi lembar kegiatan siswa, syair lagu.
