Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Pertumbuhan penduduk yang besar tanpa diiringi kualitas sumber daya manusia yang baik mempersulit usaha peningkatan dan pemerataan kesejahteraan rakyat. Pengendalian laju pertumbuhan penduduk diupayakan melalui program KB diharapkan dengan melibatkan keikutsertaan dari seluruh pihak dalam mewujudkan keberhasilan KB di Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk hubungan tingkat pengetahuan ibu terhadap penggunaan kontrasepsi IUD di Puskesmas Payung Rejo. Jenis penelitiaan ini adalah observasional analitik dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional dengan jumlah sampel 81 orang yang diambil dengan cara consecutive sampling. Pengetahuan dinilai dengan kuesioner sedangkan penggunaan IUD didapatkan dengan melakukan wawancara langsung. Data penelitian dianalisis secara univariat dan bivariat melalui uji Chi-Square dengan α = 0,05. Dari hasil penelitin didapatkan sebagian besar responden menggunakan IUD sebagai alat kontrasepsi (39,3%) dengan mayoritas pengetahuan baik (60,7%). Alasan utama penggunaan IUD bagi responden adalah keamanan dari dari segi kesehatan. Sebaliknya alasan responden menolak menggunakan IUD adalah perasaan tidak nyaman ketika proses pemsangan dan selama menggunakannya. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara pengetahuan ibu terhadap penggunaan kontrasepsi IUD dengan p <0,034. Simpulan terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara pengetahuan ibu terhadap penggunaan kontrasepsi IUD di Puskesmas Payung Rejo. Kata kunci : IUD, keluarga berencana, kontrasepsi, pengetahuan. abstract Large population growth without support of good human resource quality will complicate the effort of improving and evenly distributing people welfare.The effort of controlling the population growth rate in Indonesia through family planning (KB) program is expected to be successful by involving participation of all elements of the population. The objective of this research is to find the relation between mothers knowledge level towards the usage of IUD contraceptive device in public health center in PayungRejo. This type of the research isobservational analyticresearch, using Cross Sectionalapproach with 81people sample taken by using consecutive sampling. Knowledge is assessed by using questionnaires while the usage of IUD obtained by interviewing the people. The research data are analyzed using univariate and bivariate method throughChi-Squaretest withα = 0,05. From the result of the research obtained, most of respondents use IUD as contraceptive device (39,3%) with majority of good knowledge (60,7%). The main reason for respondents use IUD is security in terms of health. Instead reasons respondents refused to use the IUD is an uncomfortable feeling when the installation process and during use.
