Abstrak

ABSTRAK Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah belum berkembangnya kemampuan berkomunikasi lisan pada anak usia dini kelompok B di PAUD Mitra Terpadu Natar Lampung Selatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan antara pembelajaran yang berpusat pada guru dan pembelajaran melalui bermain show and tell terhadap kemampuan berkomunikasi lisan dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh bermain show and tell terhadap kemampuan berkomunikasi lisan pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre-eksperimental dengan desain intact-group comparison. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 anak yang berusia 5-6 tahun. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t dan uji regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ada perbedaan antara pembelajaran yang berpusat pada guru dan pembelajaran dengan bermain show and tell terhadap kemampuan berkomunikasi lisan dan ada pengaruh dari bermain show and tell terhadap kemampuan berkomunikasi lisan pada anak usia dini. Kata kunci: anak usia dini, kemampuan berkomunikasi lisan, show and tell ABSTRACT The background of this research was the oral communication abilities that undeveloped in early childhood group B Mitra Terpadu early childhood education in Natar of South Lampung. The objective of this research was to find out the differences between teacher centered learning and learning through show and tell playing to oral communication abilities and to find out the influences of show and tell playing to oral communication abilities of early childhood. This was a pre-experimental research with intact-group comparison design. Population and sample in this research were 30 children aged 5-6 years old. Data were collected with observations and documentation. Data were analyzed by using t-test and simple linear regression test. The results showed there were differences between teacher centered learning and show and tell playing to oral communication abilities of early childhood and there were influences of show and tell playing to oral communication abilities of early childhood.
