Skripsi yang berjudul representasi nilai-nilai feminisme liberal dan radikal dalam novel Aku Lupa Bahwa Aku Perempuan adalah sebuah kajian feminisme. Novel Aku Lupa Bahwa Aku Perempuan mempunyai kelebihan diantaranya mampu mendobrak tradisi adat istiadat bangsa Mesir yang pada waktu itu tidak memperbolehkan kaum perempuan untuk melakukan kegiatan keluar rumah apalagi sudah bersuami. Novel ini kaya dengan muatan filsafat hidup. Tuntutan kesetaraan gender yang dikemas dalam pertentangan batin seorang perempuan, menjadikan novel ini bukan bukan sekadar bacaan biasa yang memberikan inspirasi tetapi juga sebagai contoh bagi perjuangan perempuan untuk melawan dominasi di sekelilingnya. Peneliti menggunakan novel tersebut sebagai objek penelitian dengan perumusan masalah yaitu, bagaimana representasi nilai-nilai feminisme liberal dan radikal dalam novel Aku Lupa Bahwa Aku Perempuan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana representasi nilai-nilai feminisme liberal dan radikal dalam novel tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan konsep feminisme Mansour Fakih. Sementara metode yang digunakan adalah metode analisis semiotik Roland Barthes. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah peneliti menemukan 10 teks yang merujuk pada feminisme. Dari kesepuluh teks tersebut terdapat 5 teks yang merujuk pada feminisme liberal dan 5 teks yang merujuk pada feminisme radikal. Nilai feminisme liberal direpresentasikan melalui sikap tokoh utama yang ingin membebaskan dirinya dari pekerjaan rumah tangga karena keinginan menjadi wanita karier sedangkan nilai feminisme radikal direpresentasikan melalui sikap tokoh utama yang berusaha melawan dominasi dari suaminya karena sistem patriarki. Kata Kunci : Novel, Feminisme Liberal dan Radikal, Mansour Fakih, dan Semiotik Roland Barthes. ABSTRACT Thesis entitled representation of the values of liberal and radical feminism in the novel of Aku Lupa Bahwa Aku Perempuan Woman is a study of feminism. Novel Aku Lupa Bahwa Aku Perempuan have advantages such customs were able to break the tradition of the people of Egypt at that time did not allow women to carry out the activities of the house let alone been married. The novel is rich with cargo philosophy of life . Gender equality demands are packaged in a conflicted woman, this is not a novel make not just regular reading inspirational but also as an example to women's struggle against domination around him. Researchers used the novel as an object of research by the formulation of the problem , namely , how the representation of the values of liberal and radical feminism in the novel of Aku Lupa Bahwa Aku Perempuan. The purpose of the study is to examine how the representation of the values of liberal and radical feminism in the novel. This study uses the concept of feminism Mansour Fakih . While the method used is the method of semiotic analysis of Roland Barthes . The results of this study are researchers found 10 texts that refer to feminism . The text of the ten there are 5 texts that refer to liberal feminism and 5 text refers to the radical feminism . The value of liberal feminism represented by the attitude of the main character who wanted to free themselves from household chores because of the desire to be a career woman, while the value of radical feminism is represented through the attitude of the main character who tried to resist the domination of her husband because of the patriarchal system.
