Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Kepala Pekon dan Badan Himpunan Pekon (BHP) merupakan mitra kerja yang bersinergi untuk kelancaran pelaksanaan pemerintahan pekon. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan pengawasan politik (Badan Himpunan Pekon) Kuripan terhadap kinerja Kepala Pekon di Pekon Kuripan Kecamatan Limau Kabupaten Tanggamus Provinsi Lampung. Pengawasan Politik diukur melalui indikator-indikator fungsi aspirasi, fungsi regulasi, fungsi pengawasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dilakukan melalui wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengawasan politik Badan Himpunan Pekon Kuripan terhadap kinerja Kepala Pekon ketidak maksimalnya kinerja yang dilakukan oleh Badan Himpunan Pekon. Regulasi tidak berjalan dalam pengambilan keputusan dari Kepala Pekon yang tanpa melibatkan Badan Himpunan Pekon sebagai lembaga pembuatan regulasi dipekon kuripan. Sedangkan Aspirasi tidak berjalan terhadap Badan Himpunan Pekon (BHP) merasa lembaga normatif karena sikap Kepala Pekon yang tanpa menerima masukan Badan Himpunan Pekon yang mengusung aspirasi Masyarakat. Selanjutnya pada Pengawasan terjadi belum berjalannya Badan Himpunan Pekon untuk dapat melaksanakan Pengawasan Politik terhadap kinerja kepala pekon, karena masih kurang koordinasi yang baik antara Kepala Pekon dan Badan Himpunan Pekon terjadi kurang berperan dalam melakukan pengawasan kinerja kepala pekon. Sehingga dampak yang akan terjadi masyarakat pekon kuripan merasa bahwa peran, kinerja dari Kepala Pekon dan Badan Himpunan Pekon masih belum berjalan maksimal dalam melakukan pengawasan politik Badan Himpuna Pekon Kuripan terhadap kinerja Kepala Pekon. Kata Kunci : Pengawasan Politik, Pemerintahan Pekon A POLITICAL SUPERVISION OF BOARD OF KURIPAN PEKON ASSOCIATION TOWARDS THE PERFORMANCES OF PEKON HEAD The Head of Pekon and Board of Pekon Association (BHP) administratively should synergize each other to run the Pekon governmental. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of political supervision (Board of Pekon Association) of Kuripan towards the performance of Pekon Head in Kuripan Pekon, Limau Subdistrict, Tanggamus Regency, Lampung Province. The supervision was measured through indicators, like: aspiration functions, regulatory functions, and monitoring function. This study uses qualitative descriptive method through interviews and observations. The result showed that the political supervision of Board of Pekon Association towards the performances of Pekon Heads did not run as expected. The failure of the supervision carried out by the Board of Pekon Association were listed as follows: The regulatory function did not work properly because the head of Pekon did not involve the board in decision making process, while the board itself served as the legislation board. In the factor of aspirations, there was no good relationship between the board of Pekon Association and the head of Pekon who dismissed input and suggestions from the board. Further, the political supervision conducted by the Board of Pekon Association did not give a satisfying result because of the poor coordination between the board and the head of Pekon. In the end,the society concluded that the political supervision did not run as what they expected. Keywords: Political Supervision, Pekon Government
