Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
Masalah yang ditemukan di SD Negeri 3 Poncowarno yakni rendahnya hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas II pada KD. 8.1 Menulis deskripsi dan belum ada pemanfaatan media dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian dan pengembangan ini mendeskripsikan: 1) kondisi dan potensi pengembangan media pembelajaran tematik berbasis komik, 2) prosedur pengembangan media pembelajaran tematik berbasis komik, 3) efektivitas media pembelajaran tematik berbasis komik, 4) efisiensi media pembelajaran tematik berbasis komik, 5) kemenarikan media pembelajaran tematik berbasis komik. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 1 dan SD Negeri 3 Poncowarno. Metode dalam penelitian adalah penelitian dan pengembangan mengacu pada Borg & Gall. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian seluruh siswa kelas II SDN 1 dan SDN 3 Poncowarno. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah 84 (delapan puluh empat) siswa dengan perincian yaitu 30 (tiga puluh) siswa dari kelas II. A dan 25 (dua puluh lima) siswa dari kelas II. B di SD Negeri 1 Poncowarno, dan 29 (dua puluh sembilan) siswa kelas II SD Negeri 3 Poncowarno. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara tidak terstruktur, tes, dan angket. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan uji-t. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah: 1) kondisi dan potensi awal sangat memungkinkan dan mendukung dilakukan pengembangan media pembelajaran tematik berbasis komik, 2) proses pengembangan media pembelajaran tematik berbasis komik melalui lima tahap yaitu, studi pendahuluan, desain pembelajaran, desain dan pengembangan media, ujicoba dan revisi produk, dan produk akhir, 3) spesifikasi komik pembelajaran, mudah digunakan, bersifat komplemen dan suplemen, 4) komik pembelajaran lebih efektif dibandingkan buku paket bergambar dengan nilai uji-t = 1,03; 5) komik pembelajaran lebih efisien digunakan dilihat dari nilai efisiensi sebesar 2, 6) komik pembelajaran memiliki nilai rata-rata daya tarik sebesar 3,84. Kata kunci: media komik, pembelajaran tematik, tokoh punakawan ABSTRACT The problems found in SDN 3 Poncowarno were the slight learning result of Indonesian language at students class II in the Basic Competence 8.1., writing descriptive concerning describing the figure, and the utilization of learning media had not been discovered yet in learning process. The results of this research and development were to describe: 1) the condition and potency for developing thematic learning comic with the theme was “Aku Dan Sekolahku” and sub-theme was ”Prestasi Sekolahku” lesson 6; 2) the procedure of developing thematic learning comic; 3) the effectivity of thematic learning comic; 4) the efficiency of thematic learning comic; 5) the attractiveness of thematic learning comic. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 1 and SD Negeri 3 Poncowarno. However, the methodology of this research and development was based on Borg and Gall. The population used was all students at class II SDN 1 and SDN 3 Poncowarno. The research subject was 84 students which consisted of 30 students at class II A and 25 students at class II B in SDN 1 Poncowarno and 29 students at class II SDN 3 Poncowarno. Data were collected by unstructured interview, test and questionnaire. Meanwhile, the data analysis was conducted in quantitative descriptive and test-T. In the conclusion, there are: 1) the condition and potency offers the possibility for supporting the development of thematic learning comic; 2) the development process of thematic learning comic through 5 stages development which are early study, learning design, design and media development, trial and product revision and finest product; 3) the specification of the learning comic is easy to be attempted, complementative and suplementative; 4) learning comic is more effective than book of sequence picture with the result of test-T is 1.03; 5) learning comic is more efficient with the result is about 2; 6) learning comic has the average score of attractiveness which is around 3.84.
