Abstrak

ABSTRAK Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dan belum digunakannya model pembelajaran yang bervariasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX. Penentuan subjek penelitian dilakukan secara acak sehingga terpilih kelas IX A diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching dan kelas IX B menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperative tipe STAD. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah lembar observasi untuk melihat aktivitas belajar siswa dan tes hasil belajar IPS Terpadu. Perangkat lunak yang digunakan untuk mengolah data penelitian adalah Program Micsoft Excel 2007. Therefore, this research aims at finding out: th grade of SMPN 3 Jati Agung. This research employs quasy-experimental designs. The subject of the research is all students of 9 th grade chosen randomly. Thus, IX A class was taught through Quantum Teaching learning model while IX B was taught through Cooperative type STAD learning model. The data collecting technique employed in this research is observation sheet to observe the students’ learning activity and their achievement in Social Studies. The software used to analyze the data was Microsoft Excel 2007.
