Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Latar Belakang: Pertumbuhan pada bayi 6-12 bulan dapat diukur melalui pengukuran berat badan, panjang badan dan lingkar lengan atas. Pertumbuhan tersebut dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, salah satunya adalah faktor nutrisi melalui pemberian ASI eksklusif pada 6 bulan pertama kehidupan sang bayi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan pertumbuhan pada bayi berusia 6-12 bulan yang diberikan ASI eksklusif dan yang tidak. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Metode pengukuran yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengukuran panjang badan bayi menggunakan infantometer, pengukuran berat badan bayi menggunakan dacin dan pengukuran lingkar lengan atas bayi menggunakan pita ukur. Analisis statistik yang dilakukan menggunakan uji Paired T-Test Hasil Penelitian: Pada penelitian ini didapatkan adanya perbedaan signifikan pada rerata panjang badan dan berat badan pada uji t berpasangan antara bayi usia 6-12 bulan yang diberikan ASI eksklusif dan yang tidak diberikan ASI eksklusif dengan nilai p masing-masing 0,39 dan 0,48. Sementara itu tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan terhadap rerata lingkar lengan atas bayi 6-12 bulan yang diberikan ASI eksklusif dan yang tidak diberikan ASI eksklusif dengan nilai p 0,259 Simpulan Penelitian: Pemberian ASI eksklusif pada 6 bulan awal kehidupan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan atas pertumbuhan yang terjadi pada bayi terutama pada berat badan dan panjang badan bayi. Akan tetapi, faktor-faktor lain seperti genetik dan lingkungan juga berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan bayi. Kata kunci: ASI eksklusif, Pertumbuhan, Bayi 6-12 bulan ABSTRACT Backgrounds: The growth in 6 to 12 months old babies can be measured by using weight, body length and mid upper arm circumference measurement. The said growth can be influenced by some factors, one of which is the nutrition through the use of exclusive breastfeeding in the first 6 months of the baby life. The purposes of this study was to find out if there is any growth differences between the 6 to 12 months babies that was given exclusive breastfeed and those who are not. Methods: This study was a observational analytic with cross sectional approach. The measurement methods that were used are the measurement of baby body length using infantometer, the measurement of baby weight using dacin and the measurement of mid upper arm circumference using a measurement tape. The statistical analysis that were used in this study is by using paired T-test. Results: In this study there is a significant differences in the mean score of weight and body length of babies aged 6 to 12 months old that were given exclusive breastfeed and those who are not with the respective p value of 0.39 and 0.48. Meanwhile the mid upper arm circumference mean score didn’t have any significant difference between the 6 to 12 months old babies that got exclusive breastfeed and those who are not with the p value of 0.259 Conclusion: The use exclusive breastfeeding to the first 6 months of life have a significant impact on the growth that happened to the baby, especially in the weight and body length of said baby. But other factors like genetic and environment can also give an impact to the baby growth. Key words: Exclusive breastfeeding, baby growth 6 to 12 months
