Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) pengaruh lingkungan sekolah terhadap motivasi belajar geografi, (2) pengaruh peran guru dalam proses pembelajaran terhadap motivasi belajar geografi, (3) pengaruh lingkungan sekolah dan peran guru dalam proses pembelajaran secara bersama-sama terhadap motivasi belajar geografi. Penelitian menggunakan metode ex post facto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 314 siswa kelas X SMA Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 siswa, dengan sampel penelitian sebesar 76 siswa yang diperoleh menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier sederhana dan regresi linier ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan lingkungan sekolah terhadap motivasi belajar geografi dengan pengaruh sebesar 13,8%, berarti semakin baik lingkungan sekolah seperti lingkungan akademik, fisik, dan sosial maka akan membuat siswa termotivasi untuk belajar geografi (2) ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan peran guru dalam proses pembelajaran terhadap motivasi belajar geografi dengan pengaruh 23,6%, berarti semakin lengkap peran guru dalam proses pembelajaran maka akan membuat siswa termotivasi untuk belajar geografi (3) ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan lingkungan sekolah dan peran guru dalam proses pembelajaran terhadap motivasi belajar geografi dengan pengaruh 24,9%, berarti semakin baik lingkungan sekolah dan semakin lengkap peran guru dalam proses pembelajaran maka akan membuat siswa termotivasi untuk belajar geogafi. ABSTRACT The aims of this research were (1) to find out whether there is an effect of school environment on the students’ motivation in learning geography, (2) the teachers’ role on students’ motivation in learning geography, (3) the effect of school environment and teachers’ role in the lerning process with the students’ motivation in learning geography. Ex Post Facto was used as the design of the research. The research was conducted on the first grade students of SMA Al Kautsar Bandar Lampung and the population consisted of 314 students in academic year 2015/2016. The sample of this research was 76 students. This sample was choosen by using proportional random sampling. The data were collected using questionnaire and documentation. The data was analyzed by using linear regression and multiple linear regression. The results of the research were (1) there are significant and positive effect of the school environment on the students’ motivation in learning geography about 13,8%. It means that the better of school environment such as the academic, physical, and social will affect the students’ motivation to learn geography. (2) There are positive and significant impact of teachers’ role in the learning process about 23,6%. It means that the students have a better motivation if the teacher involved in the learning process. (3) There are significant and positive effect both school environment and teachers’ role in the learning process of geography about 24,9%. It means that the better of the school environment and the teachers’ role, the students will have motivation to learn geography. Keywords: learning motivation, school environment, teachers’ role
