Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis biaya imbangan petani, potensi pendapatan usahatani padi, dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pendapatan usahatani padi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Astomulyo Kecamatan Punggur Kabupaten Lampung Tengah, lokasi ini dipilih secara purposive karena Desa Astomulyo merupakan sentra produksi pertanian terutama padi dan nenas. jumlah sample penelitian ini sebanyak 42 responden yang dipilih secara acak simple random sampling. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode survey dari november 2015 sampai januari 2016. Analisis biaya imbangan petani dilihat dengan membandingkan jika petani bekerja lain kemudian digunakan analisis beda dengan menggunakan uji t-test dua sampel berpasangan. Potensi pendapatan usahatani padi dianalisis dengan pendapatan usahatani padi ditambah biaya imbangan kemudian digunakan analisis uji t-test dua sampel berpasangan, analisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pendapatan menggunakan fungsi keuntungan Cobb-Douglas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa biaya imbangan petani sebesar Rp17.308.663, ini menjelaskan bahwa biaya imbangan petani lebih besar dibandingkan pendapatan usahatani padi, potensi pendapatan usahatani padi sebesar Rp14.313.538, ini menunjukan biaya imbangan berdampak terhadap peningkatan pendapatan usahatani padi, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pendapatan usahatani padi yaitu luas lahan, harga benih, dan upah tenaga kerja. Keyword : Biaya Imbangan, faktor-faktor yang mmpengaruhi pendapatan, pendapatan, petani padi, ABSTRACT This research aims to analyze the opportunity cost of paddy farmer, the income potential of paddy farming, and factor affecting the income of paddy farmers. This study is conducted in Astomulyo Village, Punggur Sub- District, Lampung Tengah Regency. This location is selected by purposive methode because Astomulyo Village is one of the paddy and pineapple production center. The number of samples is 42 respondent selected by Simple Random Sampling. This research was conducted use survey method from November 2015 until January 2016. The opportunity cost is analyzed by comparing paddy farming and other farmers ocupation using two paired sample t-test. The income potential of paddy farming is calculated paddy farming income and opportunity cost and analized using two paired sample t-test, The factors affecting are paddy farming income is analyzed using Cobb Douglass function profit. This research showes that farmers opportunity cost is Rp17.308.663, it means that the opportunity cost of farmers is higher than the income of paddy farming. The income potential of paddy farming was Rp14.313.538, implying that the opportunity cost affected the incrase of paddy farmer income. The factors affecting the paddy farming income were land area, seed cost, dan salary of workers. Keywords : income, opportunity cost, paddy farmers, the factor affected to income
